“Very good hotel”
+The owner was very kindness, quickly response anytime. The room was the most clean, modern. Shared space is almost good and nice interior design. Location is good from the train station that connects with the PMO airport.
−It was the perfect if we can change towel to new one every day.

“nice room”
+The room was nice and clean.
−Communication with staff was difficult, places in Palermo expect you to communicate with them before arriving, which is difficult given that we work and it's not something generally required on this platform. I booked a room with two twin beds, I got a message asking if I wanted twin beds or a double bed and I said twin beds please. I got there and it was a double bed. The host said, blaming me, you should have told me. I obviously had. I also didn't appreciate that he admitted going into guests room when they weren't there to check whether they were smoking and made very transphobic remarks about other guests who had previously stayed there.

“Good stay”
+Everything was great. The hotel was very comfortable and tidy, and the location was very good, close to the train station and to the center.
−I was going to say it was perfect until the last day when I saw a cockroach in the bathroom, and there was no staff to call. That was my only problem (because I am afraid of bugs), other than that the hotel was perfect and very clean.

“Practical room to visit Palermo”
+The gentleman in charge is very kind and helpful. The district itself is not very rich but the rooms are located 10 mn away from the Palatine chapel in the Norman castle, the jewel of Palermo, and also near a lovely church, St John of the Hermits.

“Clean, modern and comfortable stay.”
+The place is very tidy and modern. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with nice, modern bathrooms. The main railway station and most locations in the city are within walking distance. Also the staff there is really nice and helpful.
−I have nothing to complain about.

“Very good”
+Our stay was very nice in this newly renovated apartment with several rooms with a small lobby. Very nice rooms, spacious, clean, good beds. We arrived late in the evening and have to phone few times to owner before he arrived but in the end we got in to our rooms. He was a nice person and very sorry for the misunderstanding.
−The communication was not very fluent between us and the owner in English, but it was fun. Our Italian skills are not good and ability to speak Italian is very limited, some basic words, but it helped us to understand each other.

“The apartment was very clean and was far nicer than expected.”
+I'm new to travelling and had never visited Italy before. I didn't realise that WhatsApp was the main method of communication and check-in but once that was sorted the gentleman who met me to let me into the apartment was very kind and friendly. He showed me around the room and gave me some recommendations for places to visit in the area. The room was very clean which is a big must for me.
−The area is definitely a bit more residential so it was hard to get my bearings and I was initially nervous BUT I quickly realised residents are very friendly and happy to help. I entered several shops in which shopkeepers and customers helped me find things despite the language barrier. So, not much of a downside, but it was the only thing I could think of.
