+The location was good, but there was not a sign outside on the street, so a little confusing when we arrived

+The comfortable room had plenty of space beautiful high ceilings. Although the included breakfast was very light, we were thankful for the option. The location was perfect and in the heart of so much to see and do!

“No hot shower”
+It was winter, very cold at night. Shower (boiler) was broken therefore we could not take shower. All rooms were occupied so we could not take shower in other room either. Hotel staff said they had called electrician at 10am the next day. We waited until 12pm but still no hot shower. Simplu disappointing.

“The best budget hotel in Cairo”
+Excellent, affordable, clean hotel with a very friendly staff. Perfect location in downtown. The Grand Agor has been refurbished in the last three years, so everything is new and modern, including the private bathrooms in each room. Highly recommended.

“Diamond in the rough”
+The stay was great! Service and communication was great. The AC issue is a nonissue to us - we understand those things. The feng shui was amazing. Check in simple. It would be cool to have a washer and dryer on site for guests. The room was very clean, but if I may be honest, a little dusty. I think the finer details need attention: like dust, floorboards, cracks and corners, shower leaks onto the floor. I would stay there again, without a doubt! The location and entrance and stairs and high ceilings, etc. Thank you!

+The staff were very friendly and helpful. The internet didn’t work well, but after we spoke with the manager, he solved the problem. I really recommend this hostel!

“Not worth it”
