“Quiet and nice”
+We loved the quiet location. The lounge was very nice, we watched a bit TV and played board games.
−We were not offered breakfast which was a bit of a let down as the next shop/coffee house that was open early was a bit of a drive away so we had to check out earlier than we wanted. The sauna is alright but could use a bit more love.

“Absolute perfection”
+The room was cozy and surprisingly spacious. The great room/common area was gorgeous. Next time I’m in Iceland, I’m coming back to this property and staying for a week, that’s how much we loved it!
−There could be a fan in the room. Everything else was perfect!

“Nice property farm style/ great location”
+The property is in a great location. Keys are left on doors with your name attached. Clean room. They have a sauna but no water near to start it. Breakfast was OK. They give you 1 egg per person plus bread, beans... typical Icelandic breakfast.
−I didn't like that I never saw staff except once someone knocked on the kitchen's door to ask if they could have more eggs. Lightning in the rooms is very dim. I would have adjustable lightning. We spoke to the owner about the bathroom door in my son's room was dangerously out of the hinge and she said they would take care of it and they didn't. Same dangerous door. The same room had problems with the key not closing the door: This they fixed. There is no shower door so all the floor gets wet. I would add some ambience music to the lobby which has lightning extremely dimmed and no sound at all. Too quiet.

“Stunning property and location but abysmal customer service”
+Beautifully designed and decorated property with welcoming communal area. Outdoor area with hot tub and lovely views.
−There was no contact with staff and no breakfast provided, we had asked but didn’t receive a reply. Tap in bar sink was not working so cups & plates piled up.

“Perdus dans l'Ouest”
+Hot tub et chambre spacieuse
−- pas accueillis et vu personne en 3 jours - aucun petit-déjeûner alors qu'un buffet est annoncé dans la description booking (et que l'hôtel était plein) - lorsque nous avons appelé pour avoir des renseignements par rapport au petit-déjeuner (numéro de contact proposé sur une feuille déposée, où il est noté qu'on peut appeler pour toute question) personne ne nous a répondu (malgré 2 appels) - fenêtre cassée (ne se ferme pas complètement et s'ouvrait la nuit avec le vent qui était fort. Nous avons très mal dormi la deuxième nuit à cause de ça. N'importe qui peut y entrer la journée) - Sèche-cheveux cassé (câbles électriques visibles) En résumé rapport qualité prix décevant et on s'est senti laissés à l'abandon, notamment puisque personne ne répondait. On a été habitués aux self-check-in dans les fjords de l'Ouest mais nous avions toujours un contact avec les hôtes...

“Stunning place!!!!”
+The hotel is stunning!....wonderful common areas and beautiful rooms. Decorated with great taste and the farm is gorgeous. We will be back for sure...it is a gem!
−Only comment is about breakfast. You have to pre-book it and that information is not clear in booking.com and it is also not explained during check in. Is probable that someone else will eat your breakfast, because everyone is confused about it.
