+Your just inside the palace, 3-5 min walk to port( you go through the palace itself ). It's entrance is right by the bell tower and statue. Owner gave good details on how to get in etc..
−Hard to see to get up the wooden corkscrew stairs. I didn't know there was light downstairs at entrance, but half way up it was still too dark . Adding a sensor light would be great. , oh maybe more light in bathroom.

“Great little”
+This is a great location right in the front gate of the Diocletian palace, so it is very easy to find and is not in the middle of the noisy part. We had a compact twin room with everything we needed for 1 overnight stay.l, includojg a kettle, fast wifi, aircon, TV and a decent shower. The staff very helpful and kept in touch by WhatsApp to make sure we had everything we needed.
−As explained, the room is at the top of a narrow, 3 storey staircase - built into a 1800 year old Roman gate! You could not climb this with big suitcases or carry small children up it! The room itself has no particular character but you book it for the location.

“Loved the location not so much as the stay in the room.”
+I like the location.
−Room needs an iron so customers can iron clothes. Also customers need to be able to conduct laundry. The steep passageway in the hall leading up to the room needs to be cleaned I noticed that my clothes got dirty because I leaned against the wall slightly as I walked up the stairs.

+I loved the location and how easy it was to book. The property manager welcomed me and kept in contact as needed.
−The spiral staircase is TIGHT. Yes, the listing did say it is three flights up with no elevator. I was prepared for that. And I had read in reviews that there was a spiral staircase but I was not prepared for how tight it was. Just be prepared. I was fine on it without my small carryon but with it....it was a bit scary.

+The owner/host Vlatka was so nice! If you want to stay in a historic, unique location this room is for you! The room was literally in the walls of the palace. It was clean and comfortable. The AC worked great! Great experience!!!
