“A lovely overnight stay.”
+We had a lovely, comfortable room and were made to feel very welcome from start to finish. Breakfast was prepared and ready for our agreed time and was tasty. It was a 5 minute walk down to the local pub for tea and a great location for an overnight stay on our way further into Scotland.

“Perfect stay”
+Immaculate B&B in a lovely quiet spot. Our room had a view of the garden and hills, the only noise was an owl. Really friendly welcome, amazing breakfast. Great facilities and parking.

“Comfortable with beautiful views.”
+A quiet guest house, very comfortable bed and amazing breakfast. Very handy location for us, we went for dinner at Traquair Hotel which was a 6 minute walk. Glen tres and Traquir House were a very quick drive (or cycle) away.

“Wonderful!”
+We have just returned home from a wonderful 1 night stay at Glede Knowe for our anniversary. After the weather stopped our camping trip in the Pentlands, we were looking for somewhere last minute to stay. From the moment we arrived, we could tell that this lovely guest house was a warm, family-run and idyllic place to stay. We were welcomed by Guy, who was very friendly and had lots of tips to share about the local area. The room was lovely and clean, and looked onto the wonderful well-kept garden and mountains. We also happened to see a few rabbits! When I booked the room, I put in a couple of requests with it being a special occasion, and these were very kindly accommodated, and we are very appreciative to Lesley and Guy. Breakfast was delicious and was served very quickly. We had a full cooked breakfast in the lounge room with a lovely view of the mountains. There was also a variety of fruit, cereal and juice to help yourself to which we thought was very generous. Again, Guy had all the best recommendations and we only wish we had more time in the area! In terms of personal touch, the decoration of the house is very charming. In the corridor, the hosts supply an array of books a

“The very best Guest House i've ever stayed at, including many hotels both 3 and 4*****”
+Everything, from Guy, who proved to be an excellent host with acute attention to every detail, the room was fantastic, spotlessly clean and super king size bed. Could not fault anything at all.
