“TRES BON ACCUEIL DE CARLOS, BEL ENDROIT”
+Le prix n'est pas forcément attractif (97 euros environ fin juin) mais l'endroit est bien placé

+Fabulous new school hostel and hotel. Friendly staff and spotlessly clean facilities. We booked the large en-suite for four (just us two) for a more hotel-like experience with a private bathroom. The price was more than fair for the large, airy room and comfortable bed. We also loved the storage area for bikes and great coffee from the bar.

+Wonderful staff - when I checked in I really wanted to try speaking in French and the staff member I spoke with was so patient and stuck to French but used lots of miming and gestures to help me out. I really appreciated it - I had heard him speak word-perfect English with someone else so I was so grateful that he let me try even though I am sure it could have been frustrating for him. Wish I'd asked his name so I could tell the hostel what a great person they have! Hostel has everything I needed - comfy bed with a privacy curtain, clean toilets and showers, nicely decorated throughout, proper kitchen and eating area. And then, as a lovely bonus, the cafe is so nice!

“Very nicely located new breed kind of hotel”
+We stayed at the Georges Hostel a couple of nights to attend a wedding in Sète. Although we found the two double rooms that we got pretty small overall stay was very enjoyable and we would probably consider another stay when we come back. Kind of very strange smell room #17 but look and feel modern, well designed and tidy. Value for money of breakfasts is very good inspite of a narrow choice.Knowledgeable and down to earth staff.
