“Disappointed”

−We did not stay in the pictured property, we picked this accommodation over others based off the good reviews and the pictures which portrayed a nice place for us to stay for the weekend. We arrive at said pictured hotel and are escorted elsewhere to the upstairs of someone’s house which has a communal bathroom ( it specifically said in the listing it had a private bathroom) and no terrace as described in the description. No tv, not even a mirror in the room, the wardrobe in the room had what seemed the owners personal possessions in which didn’t give me any confidence with the privacy or security in the room as I assumed at any point he could come in to get something out the wardrobe. The entrance hall is literally someone’s home with all their personal possessions hung up and pictures on the wall. The man who lived downstairs did not speak 1 word of English so communication was not good. If we had known this was the state of affairs we would have simply booked somewhere else, nothing in the booking listing reflected what we got when we arrived. I have tried to raise this issue with no response from booking.com, I am not happy at all with this.

+We booked for the Rock and Ring festival, and the location was super close! We didn't have transportation when we arrived, and the lady who we booked the room with gave us a name/number, Bernd! He was an amazingly nice guy who drove us to and from the concert for 3 days. Very nice cozy place with restaurants and a bakery walking distance.
−We liked everything overall about our stay! The beds weren't super comfortable but they werent bad either.

“Just perfect for a weekend at the Nürburgring and nature walks.”
+clean room with good bathroom. The bed is a bit hard but for two nights nothing to complain about.
−we tough we booked a room with small kitchen. but after a call about if we wanted to switch rooms to another room we still thought we would have a small kitchen. however this was not the case but we leave it at miscommunication.
