“wonderful - I will be back”
+good breakfast and fresh juice served with a smile; the friendly check in man 'Gede'; The book cupboard (I found a great book to read); location was very central; very quiet;
−The bathroom was clean but the floor tiles needed a wash. The floor mat was very dirty from the floor; the bathrooms need an renovation but realise that would cost a lot; instead of the bath it would have been better to have a walk in shower;

“A peaceful stay in a spacious house with a lovely pool, though a few small details could be improved for extra comfort.”
+A lovely, quiet, and spacious place to stay. The house has two bedrooms and two bathrooms spread over two levels, with large, comfortable beds. There is a balcony and a terrace with a sink and a water dispenser, which is very convenient. The swimming pool is lovely, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy a peaceful stay!
−A few things could be improved: the pillows were too hard, there were no hand towels, and the bathrooms lacked hooks to hang towels or clothes.

“A very nice and quiet place to stay near Monkey forest”
+This is a charming place, extremely well located in a quiet part of Ubud near Monkey Forest. There are lots of nice and good places to eat, enjoy a massage, a Japanese bath, or even attend to the open mic on Thursdays evenings at the Bohemia restaurant. Rooms are big with a lovely terrace, and the swimming pool is beautiful.

“It was a bit expensive for what I found”
+I loved that I could do late check in. The room was huge and the bed was perfect! The water was hot and it had good pressure! My belongings were ok during my stay- nothing missed. Bottled water daily :). I also got free toiletries.
−I didn’t like that many insects kept entering the room because the door wasn’t closing well enough. The fridge was making noises and I had to unplug it to sleep. The bathroom wasn’t clean enough- there were hard water stains in the shower and in the sink. The toilet seat could have been cleaned better( had yellow marks on it). There were spider webs in all corners of the room. The WiFi was reachable outside the room, not in the room. The bedding was clean, but had a moist smell.

“Avoid: AWFUL mold smell/old building, mgmt would not refund...booked for a month stayed for a night.”
+Nice staff. Great location with access to many restaurants and fun things to do. Highly recommend this area. Location is good, but beware of the unsafe air in the rooms themselves. The entire place needs maintenance.
−The room smells like mold. When I arrived, the air conditioner was on full blast - freezing! I asked the staff why, they said it was to keep it dry so it wouldn't be so moldy. They suggested opening the windows (there are monkeys that walk by during the day and night, so that's not a safe approach). I woke up with a sore throat and headache. I talked to the staff at the front desk, they showed me other rooms. Same issue. Strong moldy smell in the air. These are old buildings and it's very common. I reported the issue to the front desk, they said they would process my refund. Later, I got an e-mail denying the refund, saying simply it is non-refundable. Insane. I would NEVER STAY HERE again. Very disappointed in their owners.

“It was decent.”
+Good location in Ubud. Lot of greenery. Decent breakfast and food.
−My room 116 had poor WiFi. Poor means none actually. It had a big balcony but we couldn’t use it as it had a bat nest and there would be droppings. It was un sanitary. I couldn’t understand why couldn’t they remove the nest.
