“It’s good only when there are many people who are staying”
+It was ok
−The beds are placed on the floor and everywhere there were ants, spiders and mosquitos. It was fully silent till evening. I would hear weird noises from outside, upstairs, and downstairs. I was all alone in the hostel for 3 days and I felt distant from all the people, be it staff, or the people near the beach. And it was the too damn hot!! And the room was a little see through too. As an only female staying there for 2 nights…… I felt scared and lonely

“I didn’t stay there, went to find somewhere else”

−Band performance until late night; the room is super small and the bedsheet smells, it’s nearly open to the outside area, don’t feel safe…

+I liked the atmosphere of the place. Nicely decorated, rooms vere cozy but small, staff was friendly, sometimes too friendly.
−I didn't like the beach. Bar was nice in the night but there was no space for chilling on the beach, boats everywhere and no fan on the beach, too hot. I didn't like the food as well. Wasn't that tasty and such a small pick for breakfast.

“Great, beyond words, open hearted staff. Rats are a real problem if you dont fall asleep completely drunk.”
+Funky Place definitely has a lot of potential. The vibe is very community-oriented , it’s the kind of spot where you’ll feel comfortable if you enjoy a laid-back, social atmosphere with locals and travelers mixing together. The location is great, right by the seaside, and the food is genuinely good. The staff were also really great , especially the night shift team working at the entrance bar, they made the atmosphere even better.
−That said, it’s still a bit rough around the edges. During the night I could hear rats, and even saw some on the walls, which was really unpleasant. For now, I’d only recommend it to people who are comfortable with a more “raw, nature-meets-human” type of experience and don’t mind that side of things.
