“Worst road in history. People with passenger cars need to be warned. Thankfully, we had a 4x4 trck”
+I don't remember breakfast. We headed out early and had a wonderful breakfast at a cafe in Sooke. No problem.
−It took us an hour to find the place. The listed address was wrong, and directed us to place down the road that didn't have adequate signs. We had to ask someone at a restaurant how to find the place.

“A surpringly good stay in the middle of nowhere”
+Place really well designed and organised; everything is well done. So congrats to create such a cocoon in middle of nowhere
−You really need a SUV to climb to the house... and get the view of the sea if the weather is nice

“Great views and extremely quiet. Off the beaten path.”
+A little off the beaten track so the stay was super quiet. Great views from the upper balcony. Most of the Beds were comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with useful items. Bathroom was roomy and hot water was great. The sauna was a nice bonus. Host directions were great. Would stay again. It is a place that if you are going to be in for the night after a day out great, otherwise you would not want to go up and down often on the road.
−No counter space to work with in the kitchen area, lacks simple shelving (and easily rectified), absolutely no hooks or shelving in the bedrooms to put your belongings on. There could be some very SIMPLE things done to make this much better and accommodating for the guests.

+Way off the beaten path. Views were amazing overlooking the mountain and ocean. Loved everything about this little place. Also the owner greeted us with fresh eggs.

+The cabin was lovely with creative touches that we appreciated. The view was stupendous!! The interaction with the owner was excellent and helpful. And treats too! It was well stocked with condiments and soap, etc.
−Just the drive up to the cabin was a bit difficult for our older BMW sedan, but we were warned 😁. And we did make it.
