+We had a wonderful stay at this ryokan. The staff were amazing and treated us very special. We also enjoyed a fantastic multi course dinner and a full breakfast while we were there… both excellent

10.0“Great onsen with a view!”
+Great outdoor onsen with a peaceful hillside view! I was told I might see a bear from the bath if lucky... well I wasn't this time (but I saw deer and a pheasant while driving inside the village). Free tea/coffee and ice candies served in the lobby (with a selection of nice porcelain cups to choose from). Lovely selection of locally made souvenirs available here too.

10.0“We love this place!”
+It's located in Takayama, which although it seems like far from Nagano Station, but it's actually very easy to get there. Apart from beautiful place itself, the staffs were incredible lovely. They are so warm, gentle, polite and super helpful for everything! They really do go out of their way to help us with many things. even when it's us who screwed up. I really appreciate their help. It was also my birthday, so they surprised me with cake and card! The village where the hotel located is beautiful, quiet and peaceful, with lots of snow (End of Feb). The hotel lobby has big window to look at the forest. The rooms are big and comfortable as ryokan style. Food was AMAZING both breakfast and dinners. What we love the most is the private outdoor onsen where we can be together as a couple,. The view is stunning. It's so beautiful during winter and snow. No extra fee to use it, just reserve the time you wanna go in at the front office. I love it there and hope to be back again someday! Cannot thank them enough with their staffs service!

“Two days in Nagano”
+My 19 year old son and I spent two nights at Fukeikan during a trip of Japan's Nagano area. We enjoyed our stay very much, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly and the food was fantastic. During our stay at Fukeikan we visited Snow Monkey Park for a memorable experience. This Ryokan is highly recommended for an authentic Japanese experience.
“Old but beautiful Japanese Traditional ryokan with onsen”
+Old but beautiful Japanese Traditional ryokan with onsen Rooms are regular, but quite large. Food was very delicious. There are 3 onsen pools on sight, but unfortunately the most famous one in the forest was close. Free parking on sight and friendly staff. Lobby is beautiful with free drinks corner. Free WiFi everywhere.

8.0+Authentic ryokan Staff and food were terrific. took us on a 1 hour tour of sakura trees complimentary
+Absolutely a beautiful Ryokan a short drive away from Nagano. Upon arriving you are greeted with a welcome coffee/tea, and the staff are all extremely pleasant. I recommend doing both dinner and breakfast as the kaiseki course for both is amazing. For dinner we had sashimi, Shabu Shabu, fried fish among many other dishes. Their breakfast is amazing and healthy too with yogurt, granola, shabu soup, and many other buffet options. There are many onsen in the area with 3 being in the hotel itself. 2 of the onsen need to be reserved and are private with one large public onsen. The view from the two which need to be reserved are amazing
