“Beautiful place to enjoy Mt. Fuji area”
+Fantastic location, comfortable, amazing service. Half board was such a great option! Dinners were delicious and practically a work of art! Spa was delightful!

“Truly magnificent hotel (please read up on onsen etiquette before you go!)”
+Everything. Truly a cut above the rest. The attention to detail is second to none. Location, every room, every corridor is beautiful. Incredible dinner experience. A truly unforgettable onsen hotel stay!
−While this isn't a criticism of the staff or the hotel the biggest draw back was actually some of the behaviour from other guests (poor onsen etiquette, having phone on loud speaker at breakfast and generally loud in public areas). I would only encourage if you are thinking of booking to please read up on onsen rules before trying it out! Perhaps for the hotel, it might be worth requesting overseas guests to ensure they are being respectful to ensure everyone has a pleasant stay.

“Wunderschönes traditionelles Ryokan mit großzügigen Zimmern und ausgezeichnetem Frühstück, allerdings entsprechen Servic”
+Das Hotel überzeugt mit großzügigen, traditionell japanischen Zimmern und einem wunderschönen Tatami-Bereich. Badezimmer und Außenbereich waren ansprechend und sauber. Die Betten waren traditionell hart, aber dennoch angenehm. Besonders positiv hervorheben möchten wir die ausgesprochen freundliche und hilfsbereite Unterstützung bei der Organisation unseres privaten Shuttles. Dadurch konnten wir letztendlich das inkludierte Frühstück genießen, welches hervorragend, sehr umfangreich und qualitativ absolut auf 5-Sterne-Niveau war.
−Wir hatten uns sehr auf unseren Aufenthalt in diesem traditionellen japanischen Ryokan gefreut. Leider konnte das Hotel insbesondere hinsichtlich Service und Gastfreundschaft unsere Erwartungen an ein 5-Sterne-Haus in dieser Preisklasse nicht vollständig erfüllen. Bereits einige Tage vor unserer Anreise hatten wir ein traditionelles Abendessen angefragt, welches jedoch ausgebucht war. Für meine Partnerin mit Zöliakie wurden leider auch keine glutenfreien Alternativen angeboten. Bei unserer Ankunft um 14:20 Uhr mussten wir rund 20 Minuten warten, da unser Zimmer noch nicht fertig war. Währenddessen wurden weder ein Welcome Drink noch andere Aufmerksamkeiten angeboten. Da wir ursprünglich früh abreisen mussten, fragten wir nach einem Frühstück zum Mitnehmen, beispielsweise Sandwiches, oder einer anderen kleinen Alternative zum inkludierten Frühstück. Dies wurde ohne jegliches Entgegenkommen oder einen Alternativvorschlag abgelehnt. Zusätzlich war die Klimaanlage bei Ankunft unangenehm kalt eingestellt und im Schlafzimmer befanden sich sichtbare Spinnweben am Fenster und an der Decke. Gerade bei einem 5-Sterne-Hotel dieser Preisklasse hätten wir uns deutlich mehr persönliche Aufmerksa

“Struttura stupenda e di alta classe. Il personale gentilissimo e sempre a disposizione”
+Abbiamo scelto questa struttura in particolare per la possibilità di prenotare una onsen privata, oltre che per la particolare vasca dove pocciare i piedi sul tetto dell'edificio, con vista sul lago e - se siete fortunati come noi - sul Monte Fuji. Le nostre aspettative sono state altamente superate. Siamo state accolte con tanta professionalità e cura, al punto che eravamo anche un po' sorprese (in senso positivo). La camera tradizionale che abbiamo preso era stupenda, al punto che ci è quasi dispiaciuto stare solo una notte. Per non parlare poi della onsen che appunto abbiamo deciso di goderci privatamente, per assaporare al massimo la calma e gli effetti benefici della sorgente. È stata davvero stupenda, così come quella sul tetto. Per quanto concerne la ristorazione, siccome volevamo provare anche la cucina locale di Kawaguchiko, abbiamo deciso di prendere solamente la colazione in hotel, ed è stata incredibile. La varietà di scelta - tra dolce e salato, orientale e occidentale - era qualcosa di mai visto prima, almeno per me. Non nego di essermi alzata diverse volte per provare diverse pietanze. Fantastico!
