−I arrived late with my flight and the same day as I came I heard my booking was changed to an other place which was not the address I booked, over Mc Donalds on Merkela iela 1. I talked to a guy on the phone who was friendly and polite but when I got there I realized he was very drunk and likely stoned (should had suspected when he wrote good morning at 22). When I arrived he wanted to greet me with as hug and as he hugged me he inappropriately put his hand on my butt before I pulled away. Really did not appreciate and didn't feel safe with that at all. He also offered me a drink and smoke many times before showing me around, though I said repeatedly I just wanted to get to sleep. Though after saying that a few times I was left alone. The other people working on the hostel seemed more ok, but it's a very low standard.

+Nothing...
−This place doesn't exist! I made a reservation on the bus when I was arriving in the city. When I got there, there was no sign of the hostel. A restaurant called the number because I don't have the chip from here and a guy came to help me and said that I had been sent to another place (I hadn't seen the message because I lost the bus's Wi-Fi). I had to walk another 3km back and just to get there, the place was terrible and since it was almost midnight, I ended up having to stay there. No hot water in the shower. No kitchen, the sink was next to the laundry room. I was afraid to stay there all night and that night I made a reservation for another place, because I couldn't stay another night there. I left early. This place needs to be banned from Booking. Then I calmly read the reviews and there are several people saying that it is a scam, and I ended up not seeing it because I trust Booking too much. I want my money back and for the place to be banned from Booking.

+Extremely cheap, in the centre
−I was relocated due to reconstruction to a different hostel so I am not sure which one I am reviewing :D The hostel I ended up in had very old beds, shower in reconstruction and i could smell cigarete smoke in the room. But it was so cheap that I am not really complaining :D

“Not ideal.”
+Amazing location, friendly host.
−Untidy, many long term living people. But what could you expect for such a little price. Choose it if you just need a roof ower your head for one night. You will survive :)
