+Breakfast was good. Fruit was not fresh dried up oranges. The staff were friendly enough.
−The room cedar was too small, the bed was spongy. We did mention it to the owner. We stayed three nights one day the room was not made up. Again we reported it and recieved an apology. Everything is tired. We were disappointed with the place after reading the reviews, the location was okay.

+Remote access was simple and parking outside. Location was very convenient. Good browse around the antiques areas. Evening meal at The Hawk was excellent.
−Stairs were narrow but not too steep.

+The staff were excellent. The bedding was spotless. . The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was great. Superb menu something for everyone. We would stay again
−The state of the shower room. Definitely in need of some TLC and the rotten wood removed. The heaters are rusty. Really I suppose the whole place needed some TLC

“Lovely staff, great location but could do with a deep clean throughout.”
+I loved the location as it was right in the middle of the antique shop village, also walking distance to the pubs. I liked the clean sheets on the bed. Liked the staff who were all very friendly.
−The curtain lining in the front bedroom were ripped. The room was ‘surface cleaned’ but hadn’t seen a deep clean or hoover for some time and the bedside tables were both sticky. Also the stairs leading up to the room were dirty as were the windows downstairs.

+A nice small but clean and comfortable room. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast.
−The property and garden was a little tired and in need of a bit of maintenance. No restaurant in the evening and very little locally.
