“Prison cell would of been better”

−It was one of the worst properties I’ve ever been in, it was dirty( bedsheets, bed) including a big hole in the wall, the electric did not work in the room and so much more I could go on about. Second floor up and top floor. Double booked a room by accident a was denied a refund. Not happy at all

+Atrocious, Room stank of poo which became evident when I went to the toilet. The downstairs toilet was full of toilet paper and poo. Upstairs bathroom floor was covered in wet toilet paper. Entire inside of the house was very shoddy. Had a earwig crawling over the electric kettle. Decided not to go near the included breakfast, went to weatherspoons instead. AVOID this place like the plague.

“Be very cautious - "budget", means you will be in a room located 20 mins walk away from the hotel!”
+The breakfast was lovely and the serving staff at the Four Seasons were friendly. Reception was staffed and the receptionist was polite and friendly. The escort to the (20 minute walk away) room was also pleasant enough.
−IF THE WORDING "BUDGET" APPEARS IN THE BOOKING OPTIONS - BE AWARE, THIS ISN'T A ROOM AT THE HOTEL, BUT A ROOM IN A SHARED HOUSE - 20MIN UPHILL WALK TO THE HARBOUR AREA OF ABERYSTWYTH. We were advised by the event staff, this situation is a common event - not a one off situation. Whilst the Hotel I booked was the Four Seasons and looked pleasant enough, that wasn't where we stayed! We received contact from the hotel to go to the hotel and check in. We were then told that we were staying in a room at the harbour area and would be collected and taken to the room. We were NOT stopping at the hotel itself! And were advised that we would need to walk back to the Four Seasons in the morning to check out and have breakfast. After the 20 min up hill walk, we struggled to get entry to the actual road where the room was located - due to not being provided wristbands (the even said we should have been a they had been made available), as the Aberystwyth Rally event had cordoned off several roads. After back and forth conversations with the event security, and the hotel (we should have been given passes at the hotel, but weren't) we for let through to the "room". “Very disappointed, relieved to only be there one night and would not recommend to anybody. Not worth £20 let alone £115”
+Only the breakfast, which was very good. Other than that there was nothing to like about the accommodation booked.We were exported from the main hotel, 100yds up the road, to what could only be described as very poor student type/emergency accommodation.
−See above Also the bedroom smelled unclean/damp. Could feel every spring in the mattress & my son’s bed had a very dodgy looking yellow stain. The bedside lamp was inoperable and the carpet had not been vacuumed. The shared bathroom had a blocked toilet & towels on the floor to mitigate leaky pipework. The floor was wet from water /piss , who knows….?? Toilets in the main hotel reception area were far better & cleaner.

+The room we stayed in was ok, it had a tv, sink and some draws to put your stuff in. breakfast was good and the staff were friendly. it was a good location as not far from the beach also a key was provided so could come as go as u pleased.
−The room was at the very top of the building and u couldnt open the windows me and my son stayed here over the heat wave so maybe a fan or something would have been good. The toilets and shower weren't great but worked.
