“Very relaxing setting -- wish I could have stayed longer.”
+Nice room, with garden views. Casual bar on first floor, with couches and patio to sip on. People very friendly.
−Breakfast was only ok. But the setting was great, so I didn't mind.

“A peaceful and comfortable stay in a beautiful and well appointed setting.”
+Perfectly situated in old Bennington in a lovely historic neighborhood setback from the road, so there’s no noise. The grounds are beautifully kept in the house is an exceptional example of New England style architecture.
−Everything was to our approval and pleasure!

“Overall, Four Chimneys Inn was a wonderful place to stay and will book again when in the area.”
+Great location to visit Bennington sites: museum, monument, covered bridges, and close enough to area restaurants. The staff were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. The breakfast portions were generous and flavorful. Overheard one guest complain she had too much food! (Breakfast is included with your stay.)
−The brick walkway needs repair because of its unevenness. The fountain area perhaps would be utilized with improved seating options. Better seating near the pond area and fountain as well to enjoy the wonderful grounds. The TV in the King Carriage room was underwhelming.

+The inn was charming, historic & clean. The bed was very comfortable, staff was very nice. Location was great.
−Not a lot of outdoor areas to sit out at night or during the day, no refrigerator in room, TV was very small, no outlets in bathroom.

“We would be happy to visit again!”
+We only stayed 1 night at the 4 Chimneys but wish we could have stayed an extra day or 2. Our room (#9) was in the cottage and was very comfortable. Its was also nice and quiet as it was not in the main building. It had a dedicated parking spot and no stairs! Our friends stayed in the larger more expensive room but it was up 2 flights. It was a bit fancier but I'm not as young as I once was and didn't want to carry our bags up and down, The breakfast was very good and there was plenty of beverage choices, hot or cold.
−The one thing we both agreed on was that the TV's were too small for the viewing distance as the rooms are a nice size. One of our blinds was also broken and hanging down. Not a complaint but the restaurant is closed (for good?)

“Beautiful location, wonderful owner, and delicious food. This is our second stay there.”
+The breakfast was delicious how we enjoyed talking to people we met.
−The only thing I could think of was in room number four, it was kind of hard to see the small television because of the footboard. Possibly a larger television mounted on the wall. But otherwise bed was super comfy as was the pillows.
