+Great for hiking the Via Francigena, unfortunately it was extremely busy as there was a large function on the property til about 6pm - we were there on a Saturday night. Staff were very busy when we checked in.

“Horrific. Why would you advertise AC in a property and then don’t let the guests use it, saying the AC cannot work over”
+Absolutely nothing.
−The guy who checked us in last night was extremely rude and unable to speak basic English. We arrived around 11pm (we are a family of 5, 3 you g kids) and the guy refused to turn on the AC in the rooms, he said we could open the windows and if we didn’t like it we could leave. Not only that, in order to pressure us, he locked the rooms after telling us we couldn’t use the AC and left my kid locked in the room. My kid screams woke up a guest in the same building who came to talk to the guy in Italian to have him open the door. It was a traumatizing experience. We didn’t have any other place to sleep at midnight so we stayed, only to not be able to sleep with the bright lights of stairs blinding us and being eaten by mosquitos since we could only open the windows with no screens to let some slightly cooler air get in.
