7.0“A 1 night getaway”
+The area the Bed and Breakfast is set in is wonderful, the greeting when we got there was fab, after filling in booking form we were shown to our room, which looked lovely. Breakfast was wonderful and homemade granola with yoghurt n honey was delicious, so was the museli..the cooked English brekkie was super and definitely needed before we left. Overall a good stay.
−Unfortunately there was a fair bit of dust in bathroom and bedroom which started to play my asthma up..also both mirrors weren't clean, main issue we found was the centre light in bedroom was hanging from ceiling and not attached very safely...let's just say we were glad it stayed there...

8.0“Lovely old farmhouse B&B”
+The host, Charles, was very amiable. Parts of the home were from the 1600s. He also cooked a delicious hot breakfast. We stayed in the room with the king size bed. Robes were offered since our private bathroom was down the hall.
−The walls were very thin so we could hear the people staying in the next room quite clearly. The bathroom shower and sink needed a good scrub. We slept on a down mattress, which was not to our liking. It was a soft and dipped in the middle.

9.0“Warm hospitality”
+Really comfortable room with welcoming hospitality from owner.
−As a lone female traveller I try to avoid rooms in houses which I hadn’t realised this was. There was no lock in the door so initially I felt vulnerable. However with guests arriving in the room next door I felt less isolated. A beautiful stay but it would have been helpful to know the set up beforehand which I didn’t not feel was clear in the details on booking.com.

6.0+Beautiful old building with character, a large lawned area with seating and a comfortable lounge.
−house a bit shabby, bedroom curtains falling down. We told the owner at breakfast and apparently he was aware, subsequently repaired with elastoplast. A small clothes rail in an alcove but the room had a large wardrobe full of the owners clothes, slightly weird. No concern to our stay but the guttering in front of our window was hanging down. Obviously old buildings require a lot of maintenance, needs TLC

4.0“Pleasant host, property has potential but needs a regular good clean.”
+The host was very pleasant. The location of the property was calm and peaceful. The facilities were very nice, all very old world style with peaceful view from the bedroom window.
−All the towels in the bathroom were damp and we had to ask the host to replace them. There was an open hanging space in an alcove as the wardrobe was full of someone's clothes. On first viewing the room in daylight the room appeared nice but on returning in the evening and turning on the light it was very clear that the walls especially behind the bed were absolutely loaded with dust so much so I felt I had to use a towel to sweep down the wall before I was happy to get into bed. It was too late by then to have a word with the host about this as we were very tired. The breakfast was minimal but pleasant.

9.0+This is a picturesque ancient cottage - very pretty and in a romantic setting. Good choices for breakfast too.
−They're old doors but be better if they could be opened/closed without disturbing neighbouring room!

9.0+Beautiful house, lovely location and very friendly and welcoming hosts. The food was lovely.
−The shower was somewhat antiquated and could maybe do with an upgrade.

8.0“A peaceful place to stay.”
+A lovely secluded location in a quiet Cotswold Valley. A peaceful garden where you can relax and read a book in the afternoon/evening with no distractions. A nice host who greeted you on arrival like you were a guest to his personal home and not a business and cooked a nice breakfast. Despite location good internet connection..
−Without a SAT nav a bit difficult to find down a secluded lane. Stairs narrow tread and a bit difficult, as an old property if you have medical problems.

8.0“Quaint stay in stunning countryside”
+- gorgeous home and countryside - breakfast was thoughtfully done and delicious - quaint with many things to look at and personable. - host was helpful and attentive
−- the bed was too soft and is probably ready for an upgrade. I could feel the indent of people past. - our only complaint!
