The location is perfect, peaceful and surrounded by beautiful mountains, offering stunning views that make the stay even more relaxing. +Our room was upgraded from a machan tent, which was good because the machine tents weren't great. The staff were lovely under trying circumstances. The food was lovely.
−We arrived to be told the credit card machine wasn't working and could we pay cash which we couldn't because we weren't carrying much cash ( unsurprisingly). We wasted a lot of time trying to work out how we could pay for the rooms without having to travel 25 minutes back into town and walk 3kms to ATM in the rain as our bus couldn't go in the city centre. Eventually that got sorted the next morning. There was a group of 3 of us and none of us had any hot water in our rooms. One of the rooms didn't have a lockable door and as noted by other reviewers the slats on the walkway weren't well maintained. This place does not appear to be well managed. It could be lovely but it needs work.
