“Delightful B&B”
+The premium king room was incredibly spacious, very clean, and thoughtfully stocked with so many extras--various toiletry items in the bathroom, snacks in the coffee bar area, extra towels, a mesh loofah for the body wash, etc. Breakfast in the morning was plentiful and delicious, and having it delivered to our room at a time of our choosing was such a luxury. The mini split worked well to cool the room and there was also a ceiling fan. Despite being near a somewhat busy road, the property is incredibly quiet and we didn't notice any noise whatsoever. Lynn and Gregg were wonderful, warm hosts.
−For those who care, the gym area is fairly basic, with just a few light weights and I think a treadmill and maybe a spin bike, if memory serves, and none of it looked like it had been used in a while. I would also love to see them eliminate all the mini water bottles provided (so much plastic); maybe a Britta pitcher in the room would be better, but really no bottled water is necessary at all. It's a bit too far to easily walk to Lincoln Ave., the main drag (over 30 mins.), but that wasn't an issue for us as there was plenty of parking in early July while we were there but YMMV.

“Premier B&B with amazing hosts and breakfasts”
+Perfect location with the most gracious hosts. Breakfasts were amazing … think French toast soufflé, yogurt fruit parfaits and homemade pastries. The bathroom was amazing with a fireplace and view to a waterfall going down the hill. Our Cottage also included a dining area, full kitchen, recliners and a four poster king bed. This is our new go to place in the Napa Valley.

+Breakfast was excellent...the variety and quality of food was excellent as was the presentation
−We heard a lot of traffic noise from the highway, which made the experience somewhat less relaxing.

“Gregg and Lynnn were so nice and inviting. The attention to detail makes you want for nothing. Lynn makes the most wonde”
+The Palisades room was delightful. The garden with all the flowers and water falls and the gazebo is beautiful in the day and even more gorgeous at night when the lights come on.
−Nothing!

“Very enjoyable , we will return if we’re back in the area and staying the night”
+Excellent breakfast. Spacious. Small but impressive details: e.g. multiple tissue boxes, multiple mini-bottles of water.
−The bed, though comfortable, was a little too high for us , really had to climb in!

“It made our vacation an A+ trip.”
+If I could give Foothill House 6 stars out of 5 I would. It made or Napa vacation 10x better. The breakfast was SUPERB, and the room was quiet and felt secluded. Just a perfect spot. We will definitely be back.

“Wonderful stay in Calistoga and NAPA valley.”
+Very clean and well maintained. The host and hostess are very attentive and very thoughtful of your comfort and privacy. The breakfast are a real treat and great way to kick start your daily adventures.
−If looking for a view this would not be the place. Very private and nice spaces but no view of surrounding area.
