“We visit every year and love staying here!”
+I love having the restaurant downstairs after the ride up from Massachusetts. I like that’s it’s close enough to walk the shops. The rooms are great.
−They updated a couch which wasn’t quite as comfortable as the old one. That’s the only reason I did one less smiley on comfort.

−Parking. Perhaps reserve a spot for each room in the parking lot.

+The room was directly over the restaurant, but the was no noise. The quirky, chic decor was fun and comfortable.
−I would have liked breakfast as dinner was great.

−Must be able to climb 3 flights of stairs and very narrow stairs.

“Disappointing, would not recomend.”
+What breakfast? The restaurant was closed.
−The restaurant and bar were not open, we arrived just in time for the owner to leave. We book hotels that have a restaurant and bar on site, as we like to relax and have a drink when we get there. We like to have dinner at the hotel so that we do not have to search the area for a place to eat. Some privately owned inns and b&b,s are run professionally, this was not one of them!!!!!

+Staff was wonderful! Food was great!
−Just a suggestion: Have a few designated parking spots for guests.

+Converted firehouse was very cool. Lots of photos of when it was still in use. It was like staying in a museum.
−Only one issue: the restaurant was not open Sunday morning. Breakfast would have been nice. Plenty of places nearby though, so not a big deal.

“A unique stay in a historic past with modern upgrades”
+Old fire station bedrooms where the leader guys stayed on duty nights. I think I've stayed in all of the rooms there. There's only a few. But always excellent stays.
