“Relaxing rural retreat”
+We stayed in the Paloma apartment which was very big and comfortable. Amazing views of the surrounding hills from the terrace area.
−You have to drive for 15 mins along a rough dirt track to get there. Unfortunately we damaged our car on our final trip out of the accomm (a stone severed the pipe containing the power steering liquid which basically disabled our steering) so I would say if you have a 4x4 the dirt track is ok, but if not you have to drive very carefully

+We spent three nights here at the end of August. If you look up the word relaxation in the dictionary then this is the definition. Zelie was an absolutely amazing and generous host, we didn't have a car so not only did she pick us up from Málaga airport, she also provided wonderful breakfasts and tapas boards throughout the stay. Our room was non self catering, it was very clean, simply but tastefully decorated, with a good en-suite bathroom. The place itself is an old farm, that was then a school for the countryside kids, and now is converted to what it is today. The pool area is slightly separate from the main farmhouse and has wonderful views across the mountains and local little farms. It really is remote, 20 min drive or so down a dirt track to get there, but that is why it is such a charming retreat. It might not be ideal for lots of energetic young kids, the elderly, or those with accessibility needs, but otherwise this place is a perfect place to turn your phone off, have a swim, a doze and unwind with complete relaxation. We would definitely stay here again.
