+We had an incredible stay! The location right on the lake is absolute perfection,so peaceful and quiet, the ideal spot to escape the noise of the city. The unit was spotlessly clean, fully equipped with absolutely everything we needed, and the mattress was so comfortable that we slept like babies! Our hosts were wonderfully friendly, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. We couldn't have asked for a better getaway and will definitely be back

+The location was perfect the surroundings very beautiful amenities provided more than adequate abundant The hosts were warm friendly and supportive
−Although very large I found the bathroom really awkward and uncomfortable to use The shower especially the shower head had no pressure very little water and the water was very soft which I'm not used to Otherwise everything needed was provided everything was clean

+Karen and Christine were wonderful hosts (warm, welcoming, FUNNY and incredibly accommodating). The apartment was spotless, comfortable and perfectly located; making it an ideal place to enjoy the surrounding nature. It was the perfect peaceful getaway to unwind, relax, and truly recharge. The gorgeous lake was perfect for swimming, paddling in the paddle boat or simply relaxing in the gazebo while listening to the loons and enjoying an evening by the fire pit. The location is peaceful and surrounded by nature, yet close enough to explore Cape Breton! Fort Louisbourg was absolutely amazing.

+This property is absolutely beautiful! Serene, quiet, and relaxing. Mother Nature is a great healer. There’s lots to occupy your time also, if you so desire.

+We immediately felt comfortable and welcome. Christine and Karen are the perfect mix of friendly and personable while respecting your space. This is an amazing spot to relax and recharge through nature. See the bunnies, hear the loons, watch the fireflies! It is very quiet and the bed was super comfortable. It is very clean and the kitchen was well appointed. They have created near by, but selcuded outdoor areas for reading, meditation or enjoying the lake view. The native roses and kalmia were in bloom while we were here.
−This spot is low barrier accessible but not fully accessible. The walkway is loose gravel with a slope to the entrance and there is a 4 inch high threshold at the door. There are no grab bars in the shower and the doors have knobs not paddles. The dining area has a high table with stools which might be difficult for some. The picnic are has a good solid deck but has a 4 inch height above grade.

“Well set-up, clean and comfortable suite in a beautiful remote setting.”
+Beautiful location, and well set-up suite with everything we could need. Evening walk around property and morning paddle in canoe on the lake were real bonuses.
−Property is quite remote, which is good for quiet but somewhat hard to find.

“Very nice apartment at great location!”
+Great apartment with all facilities you need at a beautiful spot at the lake shore. Fully equipped kitchen, huge bathroom and comfortable bed. All the space in the garden was ours to enjoy, with great views. We could use the canoe and peddle bike, as well as the BBQ. The owners are very sweet, we had a very friendly welcome and they do everything they can to make sure you’ll have a wonderful stay!
