“Beautiful, relaxed and peaceful.”
+A real country welcome, generous breakfast, stunning and peaceful location. A cute and rustic, historic little cottage. We were lucky to have perfect weather. Otherwise the outdoor fridge and kitchen could be tricky. Night time fires in the brazier by the outdoor kitchen were a treat.
−Hand held shower over the bath was a bit tricky to use without spraying the whole bathroom but we got accustomed to it. The bathroom is charming, but climbing into the beautiful claw foot bath would be an issue if you have mobility problems.

+Stay was exactly as advertised. All necessities were provided and very friendly hosts. We had a great time by the fire and being able to cook and bathroom amenities were clean and functional.

“Gorgeous country getaway”
+It was great to be around some of the animals on the farm, and we enjoyed the slower pace just sitting out and relaxing looking out across the fields and local exploring. The friendly Alpaca was also such a joy, and generally being in the countryside was so lovely. Hospitality was so warm and welcoming. Scones and jam was also a treat!
−The pillows weren't quite right for my neck, but that's such an individual thing and should have just brought one along from home. A little noise from the neighbouring farm, but obviously out of immediate control!

+Our stay at Fernbrook Cottage was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the peaceful surroundings and the warm hospitality of our host. The cottage was beautifully presented, exceptionally clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The farm is stunning, with breathtaking views and a calm atmosphere that makes it the perfect escape from the busy city. Waking up to the fresh country air and enjoying the beautiful scenery was truly special. A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful host for making us feel so welcome and for creating such a beautiful place to stay. We highly recommend Fernbrook Cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful farm stay, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit!
