+Such a lovely place to stay while in Istanbul! The host was super friendly and had some great local recommendations which really improved my time there (definitely take his hamam recommendation - great pricing and the ladies there are wonderful!) I have hypermobility so it's very easy for me to wake up in pain with the wrong sleep set-out but Murat was happy to provide extra pillows and the bed was super comfy. He even upgraded me to a double room at no extra charge since he had availability.
−Wasn't a problem for me but this probably isn't the right choice if you're looking to be social with other guests as there's no communal area.

+Murat was an excellent and friendly host.💯🙌💯 The room was lovely, bed comfortable and fab shower! I liked my wee balcony and having my own kettle and fridge so I could have a wee coffee. The area is great and easy to navigate. Balat is beautiful with plenty of cafes, restaurants and cute wee shops. Cobbled hills and a great vibe ✨️ Murat came with me and helped me get my Istanbulkard which I recommend if you are exploring other areas of Istanbul .. easy to walk down to Balat station and take the metro down to Eminou. It takes 9 minutes! and is great for exploring the historical areas and getting ferry over to Uskudar 😊 I will definitely return to Istanbul and will be choosing to stay here again!! +The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was excellent for exploring Fatih. It was within walking distance of many attractions, cafés and public transport. Check-in was straightforward and the host Murat was responsive.

“В ЭТОМ ДОМЕ МЫ ОСТАВИЛИ СВОИ СЕРДЦА!!!!! Я уезжала и плакала всю дорогу”
+Проживали с дочкой вдвоем с 18 по 21 октября, отмечали ей 20ти летие. В Стамбуле уже 5й раз, жили в разных района и отелях. И что хочется сказать о доме Fener sweet. ЛУЧШЕ МЕСТА ЧЕМ БАЛАТ И ЛУЧШЕ ОТЕЛЯ Я НЕ ВСТРЕЧАЛА, Никакой Султанхамет, Лалели, даже Таксим с их отелями даже рядом не стоят. В этом доме есть душа, в нем есть шарм. И там осталась моя душа. Если вы хотите сделать шикарные, аутентичные, инстаграмные вайбы, то Балат и Fener sweet однозначно самые шикарные и лучшие. Там душа Стамбула, там остались наши сердца. Отель очень винтажный. Мы приехали без багажа, с рюкзаками, поэтому винтовая лестница нам помехой не была, даже наоборот, мы на ней столько смешных видосов на снимали. Отель и место где он находится для тех , что любит очень много ходить, снимать видео интересные, не быть привязанными к отельным завтракам, а наоборот, рано вставать и ходить встречать рассвет на завтраки на инстаграмные локации, то этот отель ТОЧНО для вас. Отель очень уютный, номер чистый, белье чистое, кровать мягкая, уборка была, на улице ночью тихо. в самом отеле тихо. По моему самые шумные были мы с дочкой)) В следующий раз приедем, даже выбирать больше не будем ничего. Однозначно Fener sweet

+Удобная локация в тихом месте. Хозяин гостеприимный, время заезда гибкое. Номер чистый и отремонтированный с сохранением исторических деталей.
−Звукоизоляция слабовата, через деревянную дверь номера были слышны ночные приходы гостей.
