“Homely, quiet stay with excellent hosts - good value for money”
+The hosts, Emmanuel and Beatrice, were so friendly and helpful! The room in this heritage building was large and quiet (with windows shut) and they offered plenty to choose from at the continental style breakfast (and there were freshly cooked eggs too). And there was always cake in the breakfast room! The lift is a plus, but you do need to carry luggage a few steps to access it at the entrance. Oh, and it's right above the metro station so it couldn't be easier to get downtown.
−The air conditioning unit was not working properly, which in the hot weather was a pain. The bathroom could do with a bit more lighting over the sink (for shaving and make up ) and a shelf in the shower for toiletries.

“Home-like”
+We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is excellent , the metro station is just nearby, and you can also easily walk to the Tagus River through beautiful parks and charming little squares. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly. They showed us everything and made us feel at home from the very beginning. We especially loved the cosy shared lounge, where we could always enjoy a cup of tea or coffee with something delicious. Every day, there was a little surprise waiting for us, which made our stay feel even more special.
−Unfortunately, the portable air conditioner was not very effective, and with the windows open, it was quite noisy. The shower cabin was also very narrow and difficult to enter, and there was only an overhead shower.
