“Amazing place, lovely hosts, dog friendly”
+Chris and Val are amazing hosts, so friendly and helpful. We stayed in the studio with a fully fenced yard which was perfect for taking our dog away with us. The studio was very well equipped with everything that we could need and the access to the gardens was amazing. Thank you for such a lovely week away!

“Would definitely recommend for a lovely getaway. We stayed for 2 nights & could have stayed longer.”
+Although the location was out of town (approximately 10 minutes), for us this was not a problem as we had a vehicle & it was in a very peaceful setting. The bed was extremely comfortable & was a king bed - room very clean & well set out. Our hosts were very accommodating & very friendly.

“Fantastic Fantail River Lodge”
+Chris and Val are fantastic, friendly folk and fabulous hosts. Chris is the hostess with the mostess. The rooms, property, and setting are amazing. I admit to letting out a gasp as we arrived and drove down the driveway. The carpet in our room was lush, the bed was super comfy (loved the daisy cushions), everything was clean and spotless, and the shower was probably the best I've ever used in all of my travels. We had a private deck area with comfortable outdoor chairs, a decent sized wooden table, and a large sun umbrella - that was actually easy to simply wind up and down! We looked out onto the manicured lawn, rich foliage, and native trees. It was so lovely to see fantails and hear the chorus of cicadas. The extra touches of biscuits, chocolates - fresh milk in glass bottles in the fridge (to go along with tea, coffee etc) - beach/swimming towels (there's a local swimming hole with a small waterfall nearby), and range of toiletries, added that extra touch of class. The air con, wifi, and TV worked. The changing/wardrobe area was handy, private, and useful - even if we didn't use the lovely robes provided.
