“Fantastic stay in Aswan”
+Location was excellent - very close to the ferry - and Ahmed was extremely helpful. We got in late to Aswan and Ahmed made sure someone met us at the ferry dock to take us to the hotel. We also had some early mornings and Ahmed was happy to leave a pre-made breakfast for us in the fridge to enjoy before we left. Aircon was very effective and shower pressure was good with hot water. Highly recommend.

+I accidentally booked the wrong dates for my stay, but the staff was incredibly flexible and accommodating. They also arranged a very comfortable and reasonably priced tour to Abu Simbel for me, and even allowed a late check-out to match my flight schedule. I am completely satisfied with my stay. “Quiet Aswan night on a small island of the Neil river”
+This guesthouse is located in the Elephantine island and so one can enjoy the wide city view from its roof balcony. Very close to the public ferry boat dock, but one needs to walk up a small/short slope to reach the house, and then climb its stairs a little with your suitcases to your room. Kindly, however, the house owner helped us carry the suitcase upstairs.
−Tours of Aswan and to the Abu Simbel shrine can be purchased from the house owner. I am not sure whether its price is reasonable or not, and so one probably needs to negotiate the price with him. If you are not good at negotiation, this sale may be unnecessary.

“Convenient and comfortable, with great value for money”
+Ahmed is a very kind and helpful host. Every morning he thoughtfully prepared breakfast according to our schedule, which made our stay very comfortable. The hotel is located right next to the south ferry dock on Elephantine Island, only about a one-minute walk away. The ferry is very convenient , it takes just two or three minutes to reach the other side of the river and there is usually no long wait for departure. In fact, the residents of Elephantine Island feel very welcoming and friendly, and they are not overly eager to sell things to visitors. Staying here felt relaxed and safe, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

“great value, quiet location”
+The location is great. It is on an island and is close to ferry, so easy to get in/out. Very quiet, and comfortable beds. Easy access to convenient store and restaraunts on the island.

+Éléphant Island est un petit paradis à Aswan, nous nous y sommes sentis très bien, en plein cœur de la culture locale. Les chambres étaient propres, calmes et confortables. Le petit déjeuner était bon. La vue sur le Nil depuis la terrasse est splendide ! L’hôte était très accueillant, il a répondu à toutes nos questions, nous a aidé pour notre transfert à l’aéroport et a réservé pour nous un guide qui nous a transporté en felouque toute la journée.

“Guest house agréable et bien tenu par un propriétaire amical et serviable.”
+Chambre propre et confortable. Personnel courtois et attentionné. Belle vue depuis la terrace. Bien localisé à 3 minutes à pieds du ferry.
−Les petits déjeuners débutent trop tard (8h), quand il faut partir tôt pour des visites avant la grosse chaleur. Insonorisation faible. On entend tout ce qui se passe dehors et ça peut nuire au sommeil (mais l'île est généralement tranquille).
