“nice place”
+Lovely hostel! The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good. There is only a stand fan in the room, but it’s still okay and comfortable enough. Enjoyed my stay here

+Nice hostel away from the main street in Ella making it easy to sleep. Beds were comfy and had a plug, light and curtain. There was also hot water in the bathroom. Also the free breakfast I got through booking.com was amazing! Would stay again

+Very clean, comfy big bed with a curtain, good breakfast, good wifi, good location, good water pressure in the shower. Owner was helpful if you needed anything.

+Rohan was a fantastic manager who gave good travel advice. He rented me a scooter in good condition at a fair price. He runs a tight ship and the staff was always helpful and available. I'm extra grateful that he prepared me a takeaway breakfast for the early morning that I was leaving for safari. Thank you!
−The WiFi was not as hyped by previous reviews. While it was sufficient for basic activities I couldn't do calls. Many mosquitoes in the evening.

“Great stay, close to all main hikes/ attractions, with nice facilities and lovely staff”
+The hostel was great. The beds felt like king singles they very big and comfortable. I happened to be the only one in the hostel for the 4 nights I stayed as they had a lot of cancellations because I stayed 1 week after the flooding and landslides from cyclone Ditwah. But I think the room was set up very well and the beds would have felt very private if there were others. The staff were absolutely lovely and did everything they could to make my stay comfortable and make me feel safe as a solo female. The hostel/hotel is a 2 minute walk from the Main Street which but was on another main road so it was out of the main busy area but very accessible. It was also a 10-15 minute walk to 9 arch bridge and 20-25 minute walk to little Adams peak. The breakfast included was huge and I never finished it but was a really nice touch.
−It can get a little loud as the walls are thin and a lot of trucks were driving past but not much of an issue at night and a lot quieter then the main strip.

+I had a great stay in Eyeful Ella! The beds are wide and comfortable, and have everything you might need (the socket, lamp, curtain and storage space). The common area is also very pleasant to sit around. The atmosphere is calm and quiet. But the best part is very kind, helpful, attentive and accommodating staff (especially Shiva) who made my stay very comfortable.

+The dorm was very big. The beds were huge compared to other beds in Sri Lanka. You have a lot of privacy due to the curtains. Lights and socket next to the bed. Everything clean. Breakfast was amazing!
−There only was one fan in the 8bed dorm. I was fine since I had the dorm for myself. Otherwise it might be a bit warm. There was no privacy when you use the sink, everyone from the main street could watch you brush your teeth ,-)

“Amazing staff!”
+The people working at the hostel were very attentive and welcoming, and they were accommodating throughout my stay. Breakfast was also excellent. Forever grateful! The dorm beds have privacy curtains, which is always a must for me. This was my first hostel experience in Sri Lanka, and I really loved it.

+Overall great value for money. Very welcoming, can help with tuk tuk arrangements, good breakfast. Location is good - short walk to main strip and easy to access other attractions.
−Some TLC for the showers would be beneficial.

+Very nice and clean hostel! The hosts were always available and the breakfast was incredibly nice and big! The room and bathroom were also super clean and the bed comfortable, with privacy curtains. Great value for the price, would totally recommend!
