“Very cute, room was pretty, different from your average chain in a good way.”
+It was a nice little place and very quiet. Had to go up 2 flights of stairs to get back & forth from our room.
−We barely met any staff, and there was no breakfast. They put out some instant oatmeal and supplied coffee.

“Welcoming family Hotel in a quiet beautiful area.”
+There was no breakfast available which was a disappointment. But there was a breakfast room with coffee and a microwave you could use. It was the end of season and the hotel was about to shut down for 7 months. The owners family kindly dropped us back to town upon check out. That was wonderful.
−No food available onsite. Hard to reach from the town centre unless you have a car. We could not get a cab at all to tak e us. You can walk but it is about 2 miles.

+very close to Exit Glacier trail, restaurant next door, room is at the small side, but has all i need.
−slightly pricy, maybe just did not get a good deal through booking.com. But worth it for the location.

“Small scale and intimate”
+The place is cute, clean, and staff was super friendly. Bed was comfortable, towels were nice. Amenities were adequate. Front porch is nice to sit out on.
−Only thing I would caution, is this place is a bit out of the way and taxis and Uber are difficult to get. There are a couple of restaurants nearby that we walked to. We never could get an Uber while in Seward. We were catching the Kenai Fjord boat tour in the morning and were getting concerned we were going to miss it because taxi companies were not open or answering their phone at 6:45 a.m. (Note: If looking for taxis go with Aunt May's or Izzy's.)

“Rustic cabin with everything you need in a safe quiet environment.”
+The owners were awesome! Very welcoming and accommodating. The cabins are rustic, quiet, set back in a woodsy area of the lot. Haven't slept this good in years. Everything you need is there. They offer a breakfast menu and there's a really good restaurant next door. Situated about 5 minutes or so from downtown. We would definitely stay here again.
−There was nothing to not like.

“Disappointing for the price paid”
+Plenty of hot water. Room temp good.
−No elevator. No decent coffee. ONLY TV was ROKU so very limited selections. Also cannot recommend restaurant adjacent, Salmon Bake. Salmon was overcooked, tough, out of wine selections on menu and instead served cheap wine for menu price, no amber beer

+We were very impressed with Todd. He stored our luggage until our room was ready. We were in one of the cabins and it was great. The breakfast you pay for, but it is freshly made and served hot, excellent. Would highly recommend

+The restaurant next door was terrific.
−Dirty. The grounds were a mess. They provide a poor map to locate your stay, and it was confusing.

+Breakfast was great, location was difficult to get to without a car. Taxi service in Seward is spotty. Thankfully we met a nice older gentleman, Randy who came to our rescue as well as Aunt May's Taxi and Tours service. Recommendation, secure appropriate taxi service ahead of arrival. Uber does not exist even though they take your request.
−It was really loud in the evening. Lots going on.
