“Restful and beautiful”
+Esterer staff were family friendly and full of great advice for travellers. We had some great trips out following their helpful ideas. The views from our two rooms were breathtaking and the gardens were beautiful and a highlight of the trip.
−We were not always sure about when the bar and restaurant would be open. But this might be because we cannot read German.

“Worst stay”
+The garden only
−Worst stay and vacation ever due to the terrible treatment! First of all, this is not a hotel; it is a private house with no elevator. It was stated that the room had a garden view, but when we arrived, we found out the room was on the top floor. We clearly explained to them before checking in that we have a back injury and young children, making it impossible for us to carry heavy luggage up the stairs. The host promised she would help carry our bags both at check-in and check-out. However, they only helped during check-in. Even then, after coming up, the host started shouting at us and complaining about carrying the bags, asking why we didn't help, despite us repeatedly explaining our back injury and that we were holding our children. At check-out, we couldn't even find anyone to assist us. The customer service and attitude were incredibly rude and unprofessional. To make matters worse, there was a cooling fan in the room on the first day, but on the second day, it was taken away. We requested it back since the weather was extremely hot and we have an 8-month-old baby, but they completely ignored our request. Additionally, the amenities were lacking: there was no clothes iron, no
