“Kept awake by aggressive hotel guests (3/4am)”
+Spacious room
−Very loud guests in the hotel. Could hear shouting, screaming, things being thrown around and doors slamming from 6pm until 3/4am. As a child friendly hotel this was upsetting and ruined what would’ve been a lovely stay.

“wonderful family-friendly hotel with amazing attention to detail”
+We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Esplanade Hotel! It’s an amazing place for families with children. You can really see how much thought and attention to detail goes into making the little guests feel special and welcome. The staff are incredibly attentive, and everything is so thoughtfully organised with families in mind. The food was delicious, and breakfast offered a fantastic variety of choices for both children and adults. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you for making our stay so special! We will definitely be back in the summer! ❤️

“Fine for what we wanted, which is a room for 2 nights while we surfed. But otherwise, pretty basic.”
+It’s all a bit utilitarian. Fine for most of your target market, but quite basic.
−We arrived late. The staff are not trained to advise on where to eat if the restaurant is closed. We ended up having the most disgusting takeaway from an outlet in Newquay town centre.

−Woman on reception was rude, food and drinks were pricey. Damaged blind and bath in room. Too many kids, screaming- no control from parents or staff. Swimming pool small and cold

+We found our whole experience of all the above to be excellent and would stay there again.
−Being a little handicapped having recently had a full knee replacement I found the actual toilet in the en-suite too low, obviously not everyone is affected but it could be something you could look into.

+The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was a lovely size, clean and got all what you may need in a hotel room. Its also got a fridge which was nice. Our room had a beautiful sea view as well! Breakfast was delicious !! We enjoyed our stay.
−The pool and spa was a bit outdated... was okay but could have done with being a bit cleaner, also the jacuzzi wasn't working during our stay either which was a shame.
