“Weird and disappointing”
+I actually just wrote a long review to the hotel because they wanted me to review my stay. The location, the building and the cleanliness of the building could be seen when you enter the building and the passage way.
−I had to almost beg for my room to be cleaned after staying several days there. After I complained about asking one of the staff to please clean my room and him telling me tomorrow and when tomorrow came I was referred to the manager and the same staff came obviously grubbling and on the mobile phone communcating a language unknown to me while cleaning before then instructed me to leave the room that he wants to clean and I told him no. I think his manager asked him to go clean the room before he did. After that day there was movement of something that feels like movement of Bedside table in the middle of the night and when I try to sleep again there will be some kind of weird noice in the middle of the night from round about 1 am to 3 am in the morning and somethings longer. The noice is usually off and on. I could not properly sleep and refresh and at a time I felt uneasy and became worried for myself because even after I complained it got worse that same even that I complained . I also noticed that the Guest were kind of divided. The black guest on the left side and the white guest on the right. “Cheap and does the job, good location”
+Got some good discounts, so was £200 for 2 nights. Right next to DLR and Elizabeth line stations. Chinese restaurant underneath serves good food, large portions and cheap prices. Plenty of grocery/corner shops nearby.
−Shower took a long time to warm up and was confusing to operate. Lift wouldn't always close its door so you would have to take the stairs (and there are MANY). Set up more as a flat with lockable ensuite rooms and a communal area. Would prefer a couple more pillows and an extra duvet as it was a bit cold at night.

+Location to where I needed to be close to.
−Walls are extremely thin, and I could hear every single word from other rooms. I needed to message the caretaker ( I assume it was a caretaker) as people were extremely loud above us, and we've not slept until 3 am and then another wake up as people next door moved in at 5 am who were also loud! They did action promptly to my first complaint, I must admit and assume people were kicked out as it has become quiet suddenly. Unfortunately, the next lot was also loud, but I went to speak to them and were quieter but could still hear them because of how thin the walls are. Wooden floors also don't help as a woman next door decided to walk around the endlessly wearing high hills! A nightmare. 2 night was OK, though. Additionally, the widow was extremely high with metal frames, with all the cold coming through. There was a portable heater that helped to maintain an OK temperature. Mattress had a topper, but it kept coming off, which revelled rather dirty mattress with brown stains on. I understand that it's not a 5-star hotel, but it would be better if it didn't have a hotel in the name as it's more of a hostel. Room 63 it was.

“needs a lot of improvements”
+The price is OK and the location was central to what I needed to do.
−They charged me GBP30 for an early check in even though the room was ready. There is no reception and you get an access code by email. The entrance hall has an awful smell. The room wasn't cleaned once in the four days I stayed there.

“Safety Checks not enough”
+It is close to local amenities. A minute walk to the bus station as well as the train station. The room is lovely and cozy.
−Two things I wasn't pleased with, 2 cheap toilet paper was put in the toilet which didn't last. I had to buy . Secondly, I could not lock the door with the key while I was inside the room. Although the door can be locked but without the use of the key. If someone has a spare key, they can actually unlock the door from outside which put my safety at risk and which made me afraid. For this reasons, I won't be returning and won't recommend people to use the hotel.

“Rubbish”
+Nothing, to be honest. I was given a room that smelled of ganja. After complaining, I was given a cleaner room. But I have a feeling there are bed bugs, and I didn’t even stay the night. There are so many codes and instructions to get to the room; it’s so bad.

“Worst hotel, not safe for solo/ female traveler”
+Bed was comfy Room was warm even though no visible heater/ radiator but it was floor heating i figured later Free wifi- but 0 reception in the rooms or in the building
−Cigarettes smell in private ensuite toilet Bad smelling Stains on curtains Verydusty headboard of bed Very sketchy area / location of hotel Outer lock doesnt work properly to enter hotel. Not for solo travelers/ female safety as alot of homeless people running to get inside the unmmaned hotel. All rooms are in penthouse floor and the room i got, windows had no lock and was very scary if anyone could come in through the full size huge window. There was also gap in the curtains so light would come in. Also very very noisy from train ( station opposite) and street noise and all night people coming and going in lift of hotel. Worst stay in hotel for £100++

+Good location.
−As a woman travelling on her own and arriving late at night, it felt really unsafe and actually quite weird. No reception, long stairways with random cans of Heineken around the place, smelled terrible. Then the only way to access the room was through a door with a 1 on it, so it felt like you were about to enter someone's bedroom?! Really regretted booking this.
