“A lovely short break.”
+Very unusual - four poster beds, for example. Whimsical with fairies everywhere! We saw red squirrels and a badger in the garden. Breakfasts were delicious.

“Warm welcome, delicious breakfasts, excellent coffees and beautiful location.”
+The warmth of the welcome provided by our hosts along with the most delicious breakfasts served in the delightful traditional conservatory setting was the most remarkable part of our stay. The Enchanted Manor is all the more special because of the lovely family team that run it. It was a treat to be joined by red squirrels in the garden at breakfast and badgers at dusk. It is located in a beautiful part of the island with great walking routes and opportunities for coastal dips. It is also walking distance from two excellent dining venues.
−There’s nothing we didn’t like about the property. It is more ‘traditional’ than ‘modern’ but full of character and charm.

“Great stay and good location”
+The property was clean and easy to find, the hosts were very accommodating, kind and very helpful.
−Our room was located on the top floor so it was two flights of stairs to climb. Wished there were more options on the breakfast menu as it was aimed for vegan/vegetarians which we were neither but the food that was presented was of good quality. The hosts gave lots of information on local food venues to explore I would recommend this property to others.

“An unusual property and concept that delivers a first class experience. Highly recommended.”
+Unique individual property in a beautiful area of the island. Very convenient for local beaches (walking distance) and local pub and eateries. The manor has an eclectic mix of furniture and decor that adds charm and character. We had a genuinely warm and friendly reception from Peta, who then took time out of her busy schedule to sit us down and go through just about everything that we might need to know about the manor and the local area. Peta is the epitome of good manners, charm and absolute calm - a refreshing change in today's fast paced and commercially driven world. Good quality towels and bath robes were provided, along with some absolutely fabulous home made hair and body soaps. There was a very good choice of unusual/original vegetarian breakfast options (for two courses) and everything that we ate (and we tried just about all of them over 4 days) was freshly prepared, beautifully presented and very tasty. This relatively small family run manor is a delightful place to spend a few days or even longer. The family, individually, and as a whole, proved to be kind, thoughtful and caring, tending to our every need with grace and efficiency. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and h
−You may or may not appreciate the decor and artwork - we rather liked it! - but I guess that if you felt it was not to your taste then you wouldn't look to stay there anyway. The manor is old and some of the plumbing is noisy - to be expected of course - but if you are a light sleeper you should be prepared to hear when other rooms flush etc. Mobile Signal is patchy though access to the outside world via wi fi internet was fine. The garden and outside areas would benefit from some extra attention.
