“I love how the property was a couple blocks from the station to go into the city and how there are so much things to do”
+What a lie about the property was immediately being greeted as I walked in getting all the information right off the bat I didn’t even information that I needed was given to me very politely very friendly staff
−I have no complaints

“Everything worked out okay, but I would choose a different hotel if coming to the area again”
+We enjoyed using the heated pool, it was a nice surprise to have drink tickets to use for happy hour
−The pull-out bed was not comfortable, the sound from the people hanging around the bar late at night came directly into the front part of the room as if they were next to the window, there was a VERY strong smell of chemical gas in the early part of the morning (so much so that I was worried I would have to prop open the door and sleep that way), when I asked the staff member at the front desk why I was charged an extra $75 from my booking arrangement I was met with very short answers to FINALLY learn that we were charged pre-emptively for the possibility of using incidentals. This is the only hotel I have ever stayed at that has charged more than agreed to, not given any type of electronic or paper confirmation of payment, and charged a different amount than initially booked for.

“Would recommend (for those not extra picky)”
+The refreshments, the atmosphere and room were decent. The bed was comfy and bathroom was clean (minus the little dust on the vents).
−It was a little pricey for an overnight stay, and the room was tight especially the bathroom. There were some spider webs and dust, but I didn't see any bugs, which made the dust and webs not a big deal for us. There was some type of kids sporting event going on during our stay so there were a lot of kids running and yelling through the halls (not holding that against the hotel). BUT the fact that only ONE elevator worked during a time where the hotel expected a lot of guest was an inconvenience to a lot of the guests. Luckily for us we were on the 2nd floor or I'd been HIGHLY UPSET. For those on higher levels they definitely were unhappy.

“Enjoyed my stay but am very annoyed by the over charge for my room.”
+Breakfast was very nice. The room was clean.
−I was charged an amount more that my booking.com agreement. And therefore was overcharged and the adjustment has not been reflected on my account four days after checkout. Also, the 16 a day parking was more than expected, but I agreed to pay this amount, not the over charge. Also I do not like that they charged my account without letting me know the amount they were charging. If so I would have stopped them before they overcharged me.
