“Check and make sure nothing is clogged or not working before settling in”
+The location.
−My showerhead standing water because I checked in the room close to midnight by myself I didn’t feel comfortable having someone to come and check the room and when I’m informed them in the morning, they were too busy, checking people out that no one really wanted to trust my concern so I had to email corporate.

“Lovely staff but areas for improvement.”
+The complimentary drink/snack reception in the evening was a lovely touch.
−The sofa bed in the suite was the most uncomfortable nights sleep I’ve had in my entire life and I’ve slept in the desert in Afghanistan. The pool room was not warm enough. The standard of the meals served in the bar was average.

“The room was nice but the problems noted above made for a frustrating stay.”
+did not eat
−Took 1/2 hour to check-in with only 5 people ahead of us. The first night came back from dinner, and there was absolutely NO PARKING. Myself and at least 5-7 cars drove around for 10 minutes until we got lucky because someone was leaving. On check out morning, it was raining and pulled car up to entrance to load up under cover only to have 6 cars parked there with no one moving for 10 minutes while my wife waited for me to get near the entrance.

“The stay was WONDERFUL!”
+It was AMAZING! Definitely staying here whenever I visit DC!! It’s not far from the downtown area at all! All of the facilities were clean! Breakfast was delicious! The complimentary drinks were the cherry on top!

“Had an amazing time”
+Amazing location. Breakfast was delicious, staff very helpful and always with a smile. Room was spectacular, specious and had all we needed.
−I didn’t like the fact the Booking.com did not mention that there is a $17 daily parking. You have to have a permit hanging securely because otherwise they will tow your car

“Hire staff that can provide popcorn. Checking in to eat breakfast to much if you have a key that should be enough to ent”
+Location
−They need to upgrade the toilets it's to low. Bring back the popcorn machine. The vibe is not the same anymore. The prices for room is overpriced

“Very nice, comfortable, and clean! Good happy hour and buffet.”
+This Embassy Suites was very nice. I always enjoy the complimentary drinks during happy hour. The breakfast buffet was good, although some depleted items weren't restocked promptly. Special shout-out to the staff! I accidentally left my prescription medications in the room. I contacted the hotel, and they kept the meds in the lost-and-found. I sent them a shipping label and they mailed them back to me. I really appreciated that!
−There was a $17 per night charge for parking. I don't recall that this was mentioned in the description when I booked, and it wasn't mentioned by the receptionist when I checked in. I was surprised to see the charge on my credit card after my stay.

+I liked the cleanliness and the free perks
−What I didn't like was I got charged for parking my truck under some falsehood that when you walk in the building you're automatically supposed to see a sign no I did not see a sign and I was charged for parking when I was already booked really that's sad and I will never use embassy sweet again

“Monet- looks nice but not what it seems.”
+The omelet station and breakfast were great
−The check in person was extremely rude and would not give us extra towels, even though there were four of us. They did not acknowledge that I was a rewards member, so I didn’t get my points or any extras. The room was dirty and not stocked. The pool was closed by the time we checked in.
