+The hostess (Elsa's mother) is extremely kind, and received us with refreshments; despite the language barrier, she made good use of technology to breach the gap. She prepared us a great, homemade breakfast (with one of the most fantastical views in our very fantastical Albanian journey). When our rental car broke down, she was absolutely unflustered, offered to call for help (and did call for help), and was just generally a good, gracious hostess. The road towards Elsa's villa may seem a bit complicated, but we got there just fine (just make sure not to turn to the right when your GPS tells you to in the main road of Gjirokastër, and proceed across the rotunda that's some 600m ahead).

+The room and the hosts were delightful
−The google maps directions were impossible to follow. The last several meters to the hose were unpaved and bumpy. The driveway was steep and had a sharp drop that caused our car to hit bottom. Getting out of the driveway was even worse.

+Paní majitelka byla moc milá, připravila úžasnou snídani😍 Bohužel klimatizace nevytopí místnost dostatečně (byly jsme koncem října) a také nám tekla teplá voda jen 15 minut. Co bylo ovšem nešťastné bylo dostat se k ubytování autem. Sice jsme dostaly pokyny, ale nakonec jsme parkovaly 15 minut pod domem. Nebylo by na škodu natočit video od supermarketu 🫶

+Нам написали, дали подсказки, как добраться, милая пара, номер чистый, очень просторный, большой балкон с потрясающим видом. Вкусный завтрак.
−Когда я спросила есть ли кофе на завтрак, мне сказали, что нет, кофе не предусмотрен, после чего хозяйка все таки нашла у себя баночку кофе и предлагала сделать мне его за 2€. К завтраку была только вода. Дорога к дому достаточно сложная, но в гирокастре так почти везде.

−nors susirašinėjome angliškai,atvykus nepavyko susišnekėt nei angliškai, nei gestais, nei per vertėją. iš pradžių atrodė smagu,bet galiausiai sugaišome daug laiko tiek atvykę, tiek ryte.

+Super net tot i molt arreglat. Espai ampli i còmode. Fantàstic acolliment .Lloc tranquil. Boniques vistes a les muntanyes mentres fas un esmorzar boníssim, preparat amb cura i detall.. Son molt amables i simpàtics
−Encara que ja sabiem que estava una mica apartat del centre, ens vam fer una mica d'embolic per trobar el lloc al principi. Sort que ens van estar indicant super bé, de seguida que vam contactar amb ells.

“Super séjour ! Bon rapport qualité / prix”
+Personnel très gentil, bon accueil avec Gino leur petit chien. Comme on avait lu en commentaire qu’il y avait la possibilité de manger sur place le soir. Elle nous a gentiment préparé un festin pour 25€/2500Leke pour 2 personnes.
−Le logement se situe à l’entrée de la ville et est donc loin du centre à pied. Pour la route si vous suivez les indications données par l’hôte tout est ok. Il y a un grand parking pour se garer.

“Casa confortevole ma distante dal centro”
+La casa si trova a circa 20 minuti dalla stazione, a piedi, specie col caldo, è abbastanza arduo arrivarci, l'ultima parte richiede un trekking nella strada sterrata scivolosa. All'arrivo la signora non sapeva minimamente della mia prenotazione e su booking non mi rispondeva. Per fortuna alla fine ci siamo capiti col traduttore e mi ha preparato la camera. La camera ha un accesso autonomo ma con ingresso comune dall'appartamento, era molto pulita e nuovissima e anche il bagno. Condizionatore perfetto. C'è un piccolo balcone con la possibilità di stendere e volendo una lavatrice a 4 o 8 euro. Il bazar si raggiunge in circa mezz'ora di camminata veloce con pendenze molto ripide. Colazione molto basica con omelette e due fette di pane e marmellata senza caffè, che ho preso in un bar. Per il prezzo è accettabile ma bisogna tenere conto dell'uso di un taxi.
