+The view over Ella Gap, being greated with a cup of tea. Room was comfortable enough, unfortunately I had no hot water the first night which was rectified the next afternoon. Received an apology from head manager not on site. Lovely sunshine entering the room in the mornings. Being offered a blanket for cooler nights.
−The shower floor was quite dirty, concrete floor no relief for feet. Could do with some mats. Accessibility is not for anyone who has any walking issues. Situated on the side of the mountain, very steep steps to access, which flood when it rains. Pick Me car drivers reluctant to drive up narrow road, options walk or take local hotel recommend tuk tuk which is approximately 3 times the price of any other local tuk tuk.

“We had an excellent stay experience and the staff is extremely friendly, helpful and warm. The food is very delicious es”
+The property is very well maintained and the location is very close to Ella city centre and cafés
−It’s a bit hard to reach and involves walking and climbing steps so not suitable if you don’t like a bit of walk. I loved the bit of extra adventure though

“Beautiful stay at Ella alpine resort”
+We had a wonderful stay at Ella Alpine Resort. Lalith and the team were amazing hosts and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable throughout our stay. He was incredibly accommodating and even helped organise trusted transport to our next destination, which made our travel plans stress-free. The breakfast was fantastic, with both Western and traditional Sri Lankan options to choose from, all freshly prepared and delicious. The resort is set in a beautiful, peaceful location, and it’s just a short walk along the train tracks into Ella town, making it both scenic and convenient. Highly recommend Ella Alpine Resort to anyone visiting Ella!

+We absolutely loved our stay at Ella Alpine Resort. The owners are attentive, helpful and absolutely wonderful. They made our stay so easy and comfortable, arranging transport for us wherever we needed to go. Breakfast was incredible also, highly recommend, we wish we had more meals here. My partner even fell sick while we were staying in Ella and they were so helpful in arranging transport to the medical clinic for us and checking in on us to make sure everything was ok. Truly gems.

“in the center of stunning nature”
+This is 10/10 for manager and stuff and for the stunning view from the room and common space. I had an impression that i pay a visit to one of my family members - it was very welcoming - you really feel the care. The room was good, the bathroom is very basic Breakfast is very simple but good - i don't need more Thank you for the experience and wishing you all the best
