+I'm on the holiday of a lifetime, spending a month exploring Scotland with my best friend, having travelled all the way from Australia. Twelve days into our adventure, I found myself feeling overstimulated and overwhelmed, and decided to book a room somewhere I could rest and recalibrate. What I found was so much more than a beautiful place to stay. Everything here has been thoughtfully considered. A proper coffee machine, a wonderful selection of teas and coffees, a breakfast basket with chocolate croissants, porridge, snacks and water, fresh flowers in a vase, excellent local information and the most incredible views. So grateful for the lovely, peaceful energy about this place. It has given me exactly what I needed: somewhere to slow down, regulate, restore myself and return to this extraordinary holiday feeling ready to enjoy it again. The warm welcome and understanding from the host Catherine was deeply appreciated.

+Everything😃 Comfy large bed and pillows. Robes and slippers. Strong shower. Super clean everywhere. Big airy room. Continental breakfast lovely. Eye masks, ear plugs, bottles of water... Xx

+A wonderful experience staying at Eldon Lea. Easy to find if you follow the directions exactly. Friendly hostess, who was super helpful and easy to talk to. The facilities were A++++ with snacks and drinks provided.

+Booked a very last minute room here, after a big day out on the bike. Room was immaculate and well stocked, storage was available for the bike and had a very comfortable night’s sleep. Thank you Catherine!! 🙏

“A comfortable stay in a facility of the highest standard.”
+Superb attention to detail. The facilities had been built to a very high standard and the provision of amenities was probably the best I have experienced across a range of AirBnBs and even hotels. Lots of thoughtful touches such as free water, snacks and toiletry items, with a proper coffee machine and a continental breakfast (porridge, croissant and muesli bars) a nice touch. Excellent value for money too. Highly recommended!
−Not the fault of the property because, despite clear signage, one couple spoke so loudly into the night hours their voices could be heard throughout the bedroom area.

“Great views, friendly host, lovely room”
+The location was excellent, a 10 minute walk to the village square, restaurants, etc. Room 1 had gorgeous views from the generous windows. The room itself was quiet, clean and comfortable. I liked that they left do-it-yourself breakfast things - coffee, oatmeal, granola bars. Lovely stay!
