“Fabulous homestay”
+Ika and Yani are such incredible hosts. They were so thoughtful and friendly. I really felt at home and they were very kind to me, letting me stay in my room late and making me some tasty traditional snacks. ika even got up at 04.30 and made me an omelette sandwich to take on a 5am trip. What can I say! Amazing! They can help organise anything you need and the price is so reasonable. The room is simple but it has everything you need. Also they have a beautiful garden and are close to many restaurants. Definitely stay here!

+Exceptional 2-night stay at Efata Homestay - the perfect base for Borobudur. We spent two nights at Efata Homestay in Borobudur and it was one of the highlights of our trip to Java. This is a true family-run homestay, not a hotel, and that personal touch makes all the difference. The location is excellent , just a short walk (around 10-15 minutes) from Borobudur Temple and the sunrise entrance, yet set on a quiet street away from the main tourist bustle. The property sits in a lovely little compound with a beautiful, well-kept garden full of greenery, flowers, and outdoor seating. It was the perfect place to relax with a cup of coffee inthe morning before a day of exploring. Our room was simple but very clean and comfortable, with air-conditioning (quiet and effective), a private bathroom with hot water, and a nice outdoor seating area facing the garden. Everything we needed was there, and the space felt peaceful and well-maintained. The real standout, though, is the hospitality from hosts Ika and Yani. They are genuinely warm, helpful, and thoughtful. From the moment we arrived they made us feel welcome, shared useful tips about visiting the temple, local attractions in the area,

“Peaceful and Comfortable”
+Me and my daughter enjoyed our stay here. The location is great, the place is peaceful and comfortable, and the hosts are very kind and welcoming. The homemade breakfast was also delicious. We really had a lovely stay and would happily come back (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)

“Wonderful Family, Amazing Stay”
+Ika, Yoni and their son are a truly wonderful and welcoming family. Staying with them was one of the highlights of my time in Java and gave me a genuine glimpse into local life. They are incredibly kind, always available to help, and full of great recommendations. Their knowledge of the region is excellent, and their advice helped me discover some amazing places around Borobudur. The food is another highlight of the experience. The breakfasts are delicious, and the home-cooked meals they prepare are absolutely fantastic. The location is perfect: just a short walk from the entrance of Borobudur Temple and surrounded by excellent local restaurants. If you are looking for an authentic and immersive local experience, where you can connect with local people and feel truly welcomed, this is definitely the homestay to choose. +Schönes, familiäres Guesthouse mit sauberen, grossen Zimmern mit einem kleinen Aussenterrasse. Das Besitzerpaar ist sehr freundlich, kommunikativ und bringt einem sogar mit dem Scooter zum Eingang des Tempels. Das Frühstück ist traditionell indonesisch oder auf Wunsch auch Continental. Es gibt einen Parkplatz hinter dem Gate. In unmittelbarer Nähe gibt es verschiedene gute Restaurants, Cafes und kleinere Supermarket. Obwohl sehr zentral gelegen, ist es trotzdem ruhig und friedlich. Dazu trägt auch der schöne Garten bei
