“Comfortable and well equipped lodge on a lovely site.”
+Very clean and well equipped with everything you might need. Nice gift pack from the owners with wine, water, biscuits and sweets. Great position on the site with minimal traffic noise and prime lake view. We will be back.
−Nothing. It was a very warm week but the provided fan helped.

“Fab find”
+We loved everything, we gasped when we walked in , it was beautiful. Well designed and decorated. Beautiful thoughtful touches , such as toiletries, washing up items, nice welcome treats and the best thing duck food. My daughter loved feeding the ducks, who came to visit everyday wanting food. We felt very at home and were very sad to leave.
−We loved everything. No fault of the lodge but if you go purely for fishing then be aware there's a lot of weed making it hard to fish. But lodge wise no complaints at all. Great communication with the owners, very helpful.

“Awesome”
+Absolutely everything. From a little welcome pack with wine and chocolate which was a lovely touch. The location, the view of the pond. I felt so at home from the moment I arrived and I didn't want to leave. Will 100% be back as I enjoyed every second of being there.

“Absolutely fabulous, just like last time!”
+The location is second to none and the small touches like the bird feed, little guest book and coffee pods were great.
−Not much to be honest. The only thing was a very personal issue. My other half is 6'3" and as we were travelling with his elderly parents they had the double room. The single bed was a bit of a struggle for him.

“Great property with lovely welcoming touches”
+Second time at this property , lovely modern decor and views over the lake. Really nice touches by the hosts throughout the property
−Only mentioning to highlight to the host as it’s something you wouldn’t notice unless fed back. Lamp in front room isn’t working, decking could do with a jet wash to give it that fresh feel. Maybe a prune of the tree over hanging the decking might let a little more sunshine onto it. Great property though

“Excellent. Not much more to say.”
+Edmonton Lodge was spotlessly clean and everything we could possibly need was provided. The furnishings and appliances inside the lodge were of a high quality and much look brand new. The situation, overlooking the water, was excellent and very relaxing. There was even a welcome pack with a bottle of wine, which was much appreciated. The resident ducks are also very cute.
−There is some road noise from the A59, but this didn't trouble us unduly and you certainly can't hear it once inside. We also chose the hottest days of the year for our trip and the interior did get very warm. But with a through draught and the owner's (very effective) fan, we were fine.
