“Elegant Town House near Bath centre”
+We liked the location, just a few minutes walk to the city centre. The room we had was a good size with a nice view out on to Bath Rec. The staff were helpful and the cooked breakfast was delicious!
−All fine 🙂

“Enjoyed it, loved the location just a shame about what I said above otherwise I would have scored it higher than I did”
+Fantastic location . Could walk to everywhere I wanted to go . Lovely breakfast with extensive menu. Comfortable bed and good shower
−I thought for a 4 star hotel my bedroom was a bit tired. Could do with a fresh lick of paint . The day I got there the toilet wasn’t clean . Someone had used it and not flushed . The 2nd day after sight seeing when I got back the room smelt of cigarettes , and it’s no smoking .

+It was a pity that breakfast didn't start until 07.45. This is a bit too late for business.
−Good, my luggage was light, since I had a room on the top floor and there is no lift

“Would visit again”
+Location was superb. Literally 10 minute walk to the abbey, baths, shops, restaurants. Staff all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was superb. Can tell good quality meat for sausage and bacon, all very fresh and plentiful.
−Bathroom could have been cleaner. What looked like mold on shower wall actually rubber off easily, although I only rubbed one or two spots. Looked like dirty cloth used in sink and residue / bits left on edge, easily wiped off with tissue. 2 hairs on sink and one on top if bed. Although bed linen was crisp and clean so presuming this may have been the cleaners. We booked rhe last room available and it was a small double. Bed was very comfy but too small for us. This wasn't the hotels fault, next time we would book further ahead and choose one of the rooms with a larger bed.

“Visit to Edgar Townhouse”
+Central location, and staying in historic property. Nice little garden. Very good breakfast.
−Room 19, down too many stairs. One lampshade had some of its covering ripped off. Shower bit grimy along the bottom runners of door slide.. Plastic toilet seat kept moving around when in use. Some of the hot chocolate and coffee packets looked a bit old and worn. Tea bags not good quality. Person on reception not very friendly or welcoming looked too busy.

“A beautiful and charming hotel, where I would definitely stay again.”
+I liked how close it was to the city centre and the lovely street it was located on. I also loved the breakfast which was a highlight of every day!
−I thought maybe the shower could’ve been bigger it was a bit claustrophobic. But asides from that it was great.

+Great location and very picturesque!
−No lift for your suitcase you have to carry it up the stairs, but it was expected and what you get with a charming old building.
