+Located on a farm, I’d say a car is necessary as it’s a little remote. Benefits of this meant it was totally peaceful with awesome views. The shared kitchen has almost everything you’d need provided, ovens, microwaves, free condiments and sauces, tea, coffee milk etc. We had a restaurant booked for lunch so didn’t have the full breakfast, but the scrambled eggs on toast were great. Staff, especially Derek and Gerry were very helpful.

+The staff faciliated that we were arriving late from the Stranraer boat. The room was warm and cosy. There was a very spacious communal room with a dining table all cooking facilities , oven microwave , kettle coffee maker etc with tea bags etc provided. a setee and chairs etc tv and radio. If we wanted we could have self catered , but we opted to include breakfast. There is a cafe downstairs, and our breakfast was a substantial start to the day . Their home made granola is delicious. Fully cooked Scottish breakfast was a very generous plateful ! The place had staff who were very accomodating esp when we thought we might need to extend our stay by an extra day . Nice atmosphere. Familys come for the play area for kids and coffee. And we saw hikers doing part of the coast to coast walk / hike . They also have garden compost etc , pumkin events for halloween too. Very nice place to stay .
−Sometimes people are staying who are delivering or working in the area and they need to get up early and we could hear the doors opening and closing quite early .However that wasnt really too annoying.

+Very friendly and welcoming staff. We had the whole place to ourselves
−My partners bed had collapsed on one side and he spent the whole night sliding out on to the floor. Very little sleep It was also absolutely freezing. We think they may have a mischievous ghost too. My O.Hs glasses disappeared into thin air during the night. We turned the room upside down. Nowhere to be found....strange! .

+We had a great stay at the edenmill farm!! It is located in the nature and not far from Glasgow so that you can reach it with the car within 30-40 minutes. The kitchen and the rest of the common area was very clean and it was nice to get in touch with the other guests. The best of all was the really nice team which helped us even with our special wishes. Would fully recommend!
