“Never again!!!!”
+The location was the highlight. It was close to everything (shopping, restaurants, Berea College).
−The property was old and outdated. The first room we were given smelled heavily of mold. The second room smelled like an old attic/basement where people smoked. They do still have smoking and non-smoking rooms. The clerk said she put us in the non-smoking side, but both rooms smelled like smoke so…I don’t really know.

“Adequate to our minimal needs.”
+Large room refurbished some time in the near past. Good location at an economical price. At the necessary items were in the room, the beds were comfortable. The structure was set off from the road, so no road noise keeping us awake at night.
−While it qualifies as a hot bar, the breakfast bar was unappealing. At some point on our stay we realized that towel service was only every other day.

“a little under $100 room with no perks, left before daybreak nice folks but not a good motel.”
+not much. the ladies in the office were very nice, they let me change rooms because mine reeked of old smoke. hate to put their place down but it was not good room was pretty quiet though
−small very outdated room. advertised streaming tv channels there were none available other than tubi. basic cable via direct tv. room had a very damp and musty smell bed was a mattress on a metal box. no chair other than a desk chair. this was a king room.

“Beware of the thieves”
+The first lady who checked me in was fine.
−The fact that my room was left slightly opened on 2 occasions and during one of those times, my laptop and my first initial room key went missing. When I asked them to check the cameras, they said they didn't see anyone enter besides me and housekeeping and of course they didn't see anyone with a laptop. And I know it's my own fault for leaving it in the room. But had they actually closed my door completely when they were leaving, maybe it wouldn't have gone missing. Regarding the room itself... It's an old motel and needs renovations. The floors are coming apart. The walls need paint. The 32" smart TV doesn't allow you to login using any personal accounts so it's pretty useless. The tub was gross. I ended up using a magic eraser to clean it myself before using it and even after that I still used a towel to stand on while in the shower. The desk chair was broken. And the fridge needed to be defrosted. But that's a lesson to me to book last minute, though it wasn't the cheapest option either which is even more disappointing. Save your money and your things and book anywhere but here.
