“Great hotel and beautiful interior.”
+The breakfast was awful - slow service, a bland omelet that tasted like Hospital food.
−Breakfast was terrible

“great location. they need to update their kitchen ware. tefflon should not be allowed.”
+it was clean and i loved that you could open the windows for fresh air. also loved the play ground and porch swing.
−I did not like that the only pans for cooking were scratched up Teflon. also our freezer did not work and continually dripped water all over our refrigerated food. otherwise i have no complaints. we had to buy our own cookware to use when there. owner man became upset that we had children with us and stated we should have an extra fee because we had children and requested more towels.

“Came here with my wife to enjoy a weekend in Door. Great comfortable place to stay.”
+Friendly and accommodating staff. Fresh lemonade and cookies daily. Whirlpool bathtub in the room. The suite was very cozy and well-decorated with a comfortable bed. The pool and sauna were very nice too.
−I liked it all.

“Short, sweet, perfect location with dinner at the Post Office that night. Loved it and would recommend the Hawthorn hous”
+Loft room was very nice - didn’t get a chance to enjoy facilities much only staying one night, but have been here before where I’m sure we would have enjoyed with a longer stay.
−All was great and well kept!

“Incredible place to stay, stay for as long as possible!!”
+My wife and I have NEVER stayed at a Resort as wonderful as this. This location and other buildings located within the Cedar House was truly exceptional. Excellent location in Ephraim!! Suite/Rooms were just perfect for my wife and I, for a three day getaway!! Next time I will book in advance so we can stay for a week. This was sort of a last-minute booking but worked out to be fantastic!! Can't say enough wonderful things about this facility!! Really incredible!! It takes a lot to have and maintain a beautiful place such as this but one can tell how important it is to ownership. Stormed one of nights we were there and, in the morning, I saw one of staff members sweeping up leaves and sticks which fell from storm at 6:30am. The suite we had was just perfect!! Fireplace, kitchenette, whirlpool tub little patio, just a wonderful place to stay! Again, thank you and your staff!! We truly enjoyed our stay with you and will be back!! Paul and Laura Ek.
−Nothing negative at all to say. If I was to nitpick... the tv location was kind of odd in the cedar house. Located in the kitchenette area in a cabinet that had a slide out table that could rotate so you could see from bedroom, maybe place above fireplace? Not an issue, I should not have even brought it up. When one is in Door County, U'r enjoying nature and the shops and eating at all the fantastic facilities Ephraim has to offer.

“I would definitely stay there again.”
+Outside games & rooms were very quiet. Was able to make breakfast & dinner in room.
−Someone took our designated parking spot & had to park on grass when i specifically asked about parking as we went to fireworks in Baileys Harbor.
