“Incredible stay in my favourite place in Sri Lanka!”
+Very spacious, clean and comfortable room. The family working there were brilliant, always offering to help and even brought me some food to celebrate the new year! Loved my stay here.
−It is very far away from the main area of Ella, up a hill. The trade off was worth it for me as it’s peaceful and has incredible views, but it’s worth noting.

+This place is amazing, such a wonderful family, so friendly and helpful. The food they cook is delicious. They arranged a scooter for me at a good price and even arranged a taxi to Kandy for half the price that they were offering in the town. I definitely recommend this place

“Great homestay in the mountains!”
+The views from the homestay were amazing!! The room was comfy and the shower was warm which was very nice. The owners of the homestay are lovely and will make sure you have everything you need, plus the breakfasts and dinners are amazing. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone staying in Ella.

+Very pleasant and welcoming family. They give only one big and cosy room for rent with terrace. If you'd like to get up in the morning with an amazing view of mountains, this place is just perfect. They also suggest delicious dinners and breakfasts. Much better than in the town cafes and restaurants. Portions were so huge that we took only one for both. Many thanks to the owner!
−Nothing. The only difficulty was that we had to park our car on the road downside because it was difficult to drive, very steep way to the guesthiuse. But the owner of the nearby shop was very kind to allow us to park our car at the ground in front of it.

“Exceptional”
+Everything was amazing! The food, the owner, the view. The family that managed the house was really kind, they gave us tea and biscuits, fruits and helped us in every possible way. They make dinner and breakfast, they gave us a lot of food, and it was delicious. The location is in the middle of the mountain, between a forest. We found a lot of different animals, monkeys, big squirrels, birds, only staying on the balcony means watching nature and animals, i really loved that. Wifi is great, the room is so big and you have a full house for yourself, so you can chill outside and have your time without any bothering. The bathroom was also cool and the shower was really hot! Thanks so much, we will come back!
−The location, as i said before, is in the middle of the nature, is not a problem but notice that to reach the house you have to pass from a steep climb, because the tuktuk from ella doesn’t arrive in front of the house, but it’s just 10 minutes, useful to digest your food.

“Lovely!!”
+The host family is very friendly and goes out of their way to assist. Location a bit out of the city but the views are worth it. The room is clean and the shower nice and warm. During my stay I had once dinner and breakfast, the food is amazing a must try! Also they offer laundry service.

“Unfortunately experience”
+This is my best homestay in 2 months travelling in Sri Lanka.The room was so beautiful very big and very clean with nice balcony in the forest you can see also waterfall from there.The family very kindly and helpful they offer me delicious breakfast and homemade dinner.It was for me an amazing experience!Thank you for your hospitality never forget and I am sure will be back
