“A sparkling clean room with warm Italian hospitality”
+Possibly the cleanest place I have ever stayed! New furnishings, a thoughtfully appointed and spacious room and comfortable bed. Room cleaned every day. Good 'tavola calda' takeaway right across the street and excellent pizzeria (Ribauldo) and Casa Spaghetti around the corner. A few minutes walk to the old town action and down the stairs (many stairs, but that's Tropea) to the beach. Excellent communication with the hosts. They made this a '10' because they were so kind and friendly, always available to help, which made my stay more enjoyable.
−One reason I chose this place was for the kitchen, but on arrival learned that no cooking is allowed. Guests only have use of the refrigerator and coffee maker. This was the only (small) negative point.

“We highly recommend ! :-)”
+We chose this accomodation despite the lack of reviews and it surprised us very positively! It looks even better than in the pictures. It's a new offer on the booking.com and we were one of the first guests. The apartment consists of two separate rental rooms and a shared spacious kitchen. One room has an adjoining bathroom and the other one (where we stayed) has a lockable bathroom outside the room. Duchessa is in a great and quiet location. Close to both the train station, Tropea's historic centre and the beach (short walk distance). There is a very good bakery across the street and a few steps away you can find great pizzeria and patisserie. The flat is very clean, well equipped, stylish, elegant and full of Mediterranean touches. Our balcony overlooks backyard and has partial sea view. The Hosts are very friendly, helpful and responsive. We highly recommend ! :-)
−Plastic cutlery is no match for such an elegant apartment ;-) All the rest is perfect!
