8.0“Great Location”
+Apt was very convenient to pool and pool restaurant, practically on our doorstep. Plenty of sunbeds and great pool. English channels on tv, even rte :-) Didn't use kitchen but well stocked, lovely healthy breakfast at pool restaurant. Beautiful beach was 15 min walk down hill, took Uber taxi back €4 for 4 people. Orlando who met us at apt was very nice.
−Bedding not great, needs replacing, new sheets, bigger pillows and new towels, all are old . Outdoor furniture very basic and could do with bigger fuller cushions for sofa. Jyst a suggestion Apt could do with a house number on outside wall for Uber to find us, but overall great trip

10.0“Spacious, clean, well-equipped and comfortable property with use of lovely pool with stunning views.”
+Although the location was at the top of the hill the views of the coast were amazing from the pool side. The property itself was spacious, clean and well-equipped. We were pleased to have use of some little beach umbrellas to take with us to the beach. It was lovely to have a place to eat outside - we even had a hedgehog regularly visiting at night! It was helpful to have a place to hang up the washing which dried quickly. Two bathrooms helped with five of us. Towels were included which was a bonus. It was only about 20 minutes to walk down into the old town or to the marina. It was a pleasant experience to cook in the property. The pool was clean and well-kept. Having a shop at the resort meant that water didn't have to be carried far. It was easy to get to meeting points for tours and some even came to the property to pick us up and drop us off. The tourist train was also just a few minutes down the road. There was a supermarket 5 minutes walk away. It was in easy reach of great restaurants. It was a pleasant experience talking to all those linked to the property. People we met were friendly and helpful. It was easy to get to quieter secret cove beaches by taxi or walk to the loc
−Possibly it might have helped to have more pots such as casserole dishes in the property which could go in the oven. Walking up an down the steep hill was challenging at times. A pity that the museum of sacred art run by volunteers was not open at all during our stay. There were a few other places closed because it was their holiday season too!

1.0“Never again...!”
+1)The sunshine where we could get warm in 2)The partial refund from the owner
−1)The DAILY constant power cuts (it started always around 5pm...see photo how dark it was) that must have been linked to the outside but are connected to the inside. Thank goodness we had a torch and on the end we needed to stay somewhere else. 2)The water was shortly going cold...so having a warm bath wasn't possible 3) The lack of instant repair or help (the owner lives in France and the "house ward" lives somewhere in Albufeira but both could just say "WE DON'T KNOW"; it never happened before.... 4) Builders junk, dirt, and mess on the front terrace; impossible to sit outside 5) The house was more a building site and it was unpleasant to stay there whilst everything was covered in mess. 6) The air condition failed to warm the rooms constantly, and it was pretty chilly in the evenings&nights in December!

1.0“Not worth the money”
+Beds and pillows
−Ignorant staff at the shop/cafe, location uphill, bad directions at night, host tried to charge 20 euro as our flight was at nighttime for him to be there to let us in which wasn't mentioned at booking. I thought it was cheeky. Bathrooms outdated, moldy. No Internet unless you are standing at the door. Communication terrible if you needed anything. Won't be in a hurry back.

5.0+Size of the property was fantastic. Nice out door space. Pool and bar area well kept and maintained.
−Cleanliness was quite poor, dirty floors which had not been mopped. Food container with food inside, which had not been been washed. Mould in showers and flaky white bits coming off the walls or tray of shower.
