“Nice facility but a bunch of hidden costs.”
+Room and facility was very clean and nice.
−Was told a veteran discount would be applied upon check in, when checking in was advised they didnt do that and then was told it had to be done when booked (wasn't an option). Breakfast was supposed to be included in price, then while there had to pay and they would "reimberse the card". Upon check in had a 25$ fee that would be reimbersed as well. Had a 2.80$ gift shop charge on bill and we didnt use the gift shop. So although the facility is nice it has a bunch of hidden fees of nonsense.

+I was scammed by Booking.com I was searching for hotel in Newark NJ and you system displayed an availability Newark and didn't list state until after I booked reservation according to hotel you do this all the time. I was extremely unhappy with this scam and hope you didn't charge my card! Waiting for verification from my card

“Would not stay here again, upgrades needed. Staff very friendly otherwise the room was below my expectations.”
+Convenient location, quiet
−Room 212 extremely musty and old smelling. Bath tub could be redone or replaced. The clear colored lamps haven’t been dusted in a while. The air conditioner was extremely loud.and the room went from extremely cold to extremely hot depending on if unit was running. Bed was not comfortable, pillows too soft.

+Spacious room and clean.
−Blinds did not close enough to keep lights on front of building from shining in my room.

+The front desk staff was outstanding!
−Our first two days was without air conditioning in our room The ambient temperature was over 90 degrees and our room temperature was over 80 degrees. The front desk manager eventually found us a suite comparable to ours on a different floor. This was the fist time visiting my hometown in 5 years and this issue caused lost time with family and friends, as well as uncomfortable conditions, undue stress, and anxiety. I was told I was going to be contacted by the hotel manager to be compensated or refunded for the issue, but that never happened.

“Great property, friendly staff, clean facilities.”
+My father was in the hospital and was set to be released but had to stay another night. My mom, sister and aunt were trying to find a place to stay for a good rate so they could be with him. I live out of state and was not with them. I was able to book through booking for this stay and work with the local property to pay for the stay for my mom, aunt and sister to stay so they could be close to my dad. The property was so easy to work with and so friendly and accommodating for my family. I can't thank them enough!! :-)
