1.0“A Sewer Disguised as a Riad! One of the Worst Hotel Experiences I Have Ever Had in Marrakech”
+I booked a Deluxe room, paying more than for a Standard room, expecting spacious and comfortable accommodation. Instead, the room was extremely small, with barely enough space for our clothes. The real problem, however, was an overpowering smell of sewage, noticeable from the moment we entered the room. I immediately reported it to the receptionist, who acknowledged the foul smell and apologised, attempting to address it with an air freshener and two candles. Obviously, these can only mask an odour, not eliminate the underlying sewage problem. I was offered the possibility of changing rooms every day, an unreasonable solution for a three-night stay. I was subsequently advised to move to another hotel, but since it was already evening, I decided to stay rather than disrupt our plans. I requested a full or partial refund for the inconvenience, but received nothing. The worst part was the way my complaint was handled the following day. Initially, the receptionist had explicitly acknowledged the sewage smell, apologised and attempted to address it. However, after speaking with the manager, the staff's attitude changed completely. The manager personally entered our room with me and, des
−What disappointed us most was not simply the sewage problem itself, but the complete lack of professionalism, honesty and respect shown by the management. No solution, no apology from the manager, and not even a partial refund. I strongly advise anyone visiting Marrakech to avoid this property. Hospitality requires honesty, accountability and respect for guests. Denying a problem that your own staff initially acknowledged, and claiming that the smell of sewage is actually a guest's perfume, is the exact opposite of what this profession should stand for. I would never return and would not recommend this property to anyone.

10.0“Top notch Riad. Highly recommend.”
+Great location, beautifully decorated & recently renovated to a high standard. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The rooftop breakfast was extraordinary, and the spa was also excellent, including the Hammam. Perfect boutique size Riad, and after touring a few other Riads in the Medina, this was the obvious choice.

10.0“If you want a magical experience, stay here!!”
+A million things. Regardless of how lovely the Riad is and the amenities, what makes the space is the staff. The face of the RIAD and our first introduction was the front desk lady Nouhaila. She was the one that greeted us and got us situated. We landed around 9:00 a.m., she promptly arranged a RIAD driver to come get us at the airport. He was there on time, and brought us to the RIAD. From the moment we met her until we checked out she went above and beyond in hospitality. She offered us breakfast, and hurried the room cleaners to get our room ready even though we were MUCH earlier than normal check in time. A table was set and we were served an exceptional breakfast in a gorgeous sitting area. Any time I needed anything, Nouhalia made sure that we had it within minutes. She was happy to service us, and so efficiently. You can totally tell that she cares about the place she works, and she genuinely cares about the guests. She doesn't just do her job, she goes above and beyond. Then we have the lady that cleaned our room, Bouchra. She was extremely warm, friendly, social, and even if I said I didn't need the room cleaned that day, she would offer to refresh anything, water, tea, to
−LEAVING!!! I could have never have left. Saying goodbyes is very hard when they make you feel like home.

10.0“Book your taxi ride directly with Door Janna!”
+The atmosphere, the attention to beautiful design details, the breakfasts!, and all the staff were so friendly and attentive.
−That I didn't make taxi reservations directly through the hotel prior to arriving at the airport. We had transportation that dropped us off at a traffic circle far from our Riad. We were so lost. When the gentleman who greeted us at Door Janna saw what we looked like (exhausted and very sweaty) he sat us right down in a cool, comfortable area and brought us tea and sweets while he took care of the paperwork and our bags. We definitely booked our taxi with them to return to the airport. A lovely young man at the hotel took our bags by cart from the Riad to the awaiting taxi. You won't really understand what an amazing service this is until you have to pull bags over cobblestone through alleyways in the dark if your random taxi driver drops you off far from Riad Door Janna.

10.0“Beautiful Riad perfect for exploring”
+Beautiful Riad, well located, excellent breakfast and exceptionally friendly staff who couldn’t have done more to make us feel at home - couldn’t have been happier!
−The pool was really more fit for a paddle rather than a swim but it didn’t detract!

10.0“Came as strangers and left feeling like family!”
+Wow Wow Wow! Door Janna truly felt like home. We were so sad to leave and honestly wished we could have extended our stay. First things first, the location is right in the middle of the Medina. As soon as you left the riad you were surrounded with markets and shops, and within a 5 minute walk, taxis were available. The breakfast at the riad was also delicious! We loved the crepes, tea, and omelette and were so full because there was a lot of food. When we checked in, we were welcomed with mint tea and small snacks, so we truly felt like we were at home. We also had a tour to the sahara and they were nice enough to store our luggage for us until we returned from the tour. All in all, I cannot wait to come back to Marrakesh and stay here. Everyone at the front was very sweet and genuine.
−Sometimes the elevators did not work, but this wasn't a huge deal as the stairs weren't too bad.

10.0+The Door Janna Raia is just exquisite, an oasis in the middle of Medina. The personnel was just lovely, particularly the ladies who serve breakfast. There was always water in the room and every detail in the Raia was thought through
